FIRST HALF 2011

PROGRAMME OF THE M.A. (OTHER THAN MATHEMATICS, STATISTICS & GEOGRAPHY)


(PART- I & PART- II) EXAMINATIONS

1. Candidates at the above examinations are requested to be present at the place of


examination fifteen munutes before the time appointed for setting of the first paper
and ten minutes before the time fixed for setting of each subsequent paper.

THEY ARE FORBIDDENT TO TAKE ANY BOOK OR PAPER INTO THE


EXAMINATION HALL.

2. Seat numbers and places of examination will be announced on the Institutes/


Departments / Colleges notice boards four days prior to the date of commencement
of the examination.

3. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the examination hall.

4. Candidates are requested to note carefully the timings for setting of each paper.

5. The use of stencils is allowed at the examination.

6. The practical examinations and orals wherever prescribed will be held at the places
to be announced later after the conclusion of the written examinations. Due notice
will be given on the University notice boards of the dates, time and places of
examinations and order in which candidates are to present themselves. Candidates
are directed to present at the time and place appointed for their practical or oral
examination. Those who fail to present at the time and place appointed for their
practical or oral examination. Those who fail to present themselves at the appointed
time and place will not be examined practically or orally.

7. For the candidates appearing with Internal and External Assessment Scheme, the
question paper will be of two hours duration i.e. 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. for morning
session and 03:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. for afternoon session.

8. The students offering the subjects of Sociology are permitted to use six function
calculator at the examination.

9. The written examination will be conducted in the following order :-
