placed on it. He also mentioned that the class schedule is not yet done due to the template which
will be coming from the division office.
Mr. Mon Eric Lomeda , the Science teacher tackled about the School Policy. The school has
plans a and b on what is to be used since everything is still unstable; programs and projects might
still be modified due to this new normal situation. He reiterated that a disinfection mat and
alcohol in every classroom should be ready and the school is in charge of buying them. In order
for the parents to be updated and be oriented, there is an online meeting with them. There should
be information dissemination about the school’s LCP. Physical check-up for teachers and other
school personnel is required and the result should be submitted on July 27, 2020. He also

teacher leaders as teachers and some of them were innovative, seekers of challenges and growth,
creative, excellent teaching skills and the like. According to her Psychological First Aid is the
method of helping people in distress so they feel calm and supported to cope better with their
challenges. Teachers are psychological workers for good teaching and learning practices are
considered good psychological practices .However teachers should have to create a comfortable
scenario/atmosphere. The principles of Psychological First Aid (PFA) is to look , listen and link;
listen means showing empathy and warm, giving attention and affirmation; link refers to the
support ,accessing information and tackling practical problems. The teachers should be mission
oriented in order to become psychological workers. She also shared the do’s and don’ts in
handling cases. She stressed that in PFA one should not force anybody to narrate the situation or
to give promises just to get the information or to lessen the burden.
Absolutely with the pool of speakers for this day, all learned a lot of brilliant insights, ideas
and techniques in facing this new normal situation.
