CYANIDE ANTIDOTE

Before anything else:


Raise alarm and get someone to call an ambulance or transport to hospital but stay with the patient.

• Only if the patient is breathing and awake do the following. Make the patient drink first a cup (500ml) of
Antidote.

• Make (force) the patient to vomit and then give another cup (500ml) and make him vomit again.

• Get the oxygen cylinder and make him breath the oxygen. Until help arrive.

• Remove contaminated clothes.

• Make him lay down on his side (not on his back). Keep him warm. Don’t stop the oxygen administration.

• Don’t make him walk.

• Keep him calm
