Effects of Training and Development Programs on Job Performance of Mary Grace’s Employees

Description

Clayton Alderfer’s ERG Theory in 1969 contracts Maslow’s five human needs into three categories,
depending on their concreteness. The least concrete among them is growth needs because their specific
objectives depend on each person’s uniqueness.
For the children in Kinder, their growth needs are defined by the ability of being able to write letters, learn
their sounds, and count numbers. But for the students in college, their growth needs are their gained
knowledge about the field they are to pursue in their future careers.

the objective of enhancing their employees’ skills and knowledge, and this is growth. To simplify, the
management is aware that every of their employees has growth needs, needs that they have to achieve in
order for them to survive in their professional career by having a satisfying job performance which may have a
great impact to the competitiveness and progress of the business. This is the reason why during and after a
particular program, manager or any responsible individual in the organization evaluate the development or
growth of the employees.

the management on the job performance of the employees of Mary Grace to see if these organizational
practices really affect or not the employees’ performance.
