Statement of the problem

This study seek to provide a clear and concise status of legal service available to Indigenous
People/Indigenous Cultural Communities residing in the area within the Province of Rizal which will be
affected by the Government's Kaliwa Dam project. Specifically this sought to answer the following
questions:

1. General profile: respondents ‘profile such as:

a. Gender.

b. Age

c. Civil Status

d. Educational attainment

2. Respondents assessment on accessibility of legal services in terms of:

2.1 Location

2.2 Cost of Service

2.3 Awareness

2.4 Availability of lawyer

3. Is there a significant difference in the assessment of accessibility of legal services in terms of


Location, Cost of services, awareness and Availability of lawyer on the respondents’ general
profile.

Hypotheses

H1: Respondents are satisfied in the assessment of accessibility of legal services.

H2: There is no significant difference in the assessment of accessibility of legal services in


terms of Location, Cost of services and awareness on the respondents’ general profile.
