POST OBSERVATION CONFERENCE
(Supervisor/Principal – Master Teacher/Teacher)
Name of Teacher : Florencio C. Montenegro School : Governor Feliciano Leviste MNHS
District : Lemery
1. What are the objectives of your lesson?
Use analogy to describe or make a point
Identify figures of speech that show comparison (simile and metaphor)
2. How did you feel as you teach to your class the concept in a specific learning area for a
specified period/time?
I was a bit nervous and excited though I came prepared. I want to help my learners in
overcoming their fears in answering the task through different sets of activities that I’ve
prepared for the video lesson and I want to see in their eyes the satisfaction and happiness
while they are doing their activity.
3. Did the students/pupils accomplish the goals you planned for this class? Identify the things
that went well during the lesson
Yes, the discussion and the evaluation went well, learners showed eagerness to learn the
lesson.
4. What strategies did you use to develop the lesson? (Based from indicators 1-3 of the COT)
Indigenize, Localize and contextualize instructional materials were the most powerful thing to
do.
I used Direct Instruction/Lecture Method and Inquiry Based Approach, because I knew that
these strategies would help the learners to easily understand the lesson.
I utilized learning resources, including ICT, which are consistently aligned with the learning
goals.
5. What did you do that specifically contributed to the success of the lesson? (Based from
indicators 4-7)
Select, develop, organize and use appropriate teaching and learning resources, including
ICT, to address learning goals
I presented a Power Point Presentation with tons of examples and short quizzes for my
learners, integration of technology in my lesson would be a great aid for them, since students
nowadays have a limited attention span. Presenting different examples and having them
answered some exercises would lead to the success of the lesson.
6. Is there anything that did not work well-that you disliked about the way the class went? What
you could do differently next time to get the same or a better result?

I had a hard time in encouraging them to answer certain task so next time I will prepare fun
and somewhat challenging activities; I think through that, the students will be excited to
participate in the discussion.
7. What would you like to focus for the next observation? What area or aspect of your teaching
would you like to explore further, seek additional information or obtain additional feedback?
How can I help you to accomplish your next goal?
I would like to focus on the students’ involvement and inquiry based approach; actually I had
a hard time encouraging them to answer some of the questions in their self-learning modules.
Maybe giving a piece of advice on how to handle that kind of situation would be a great help
on my part.
