Sub:- Work Order for execution of laying of DLC/PQC, culverts and bridgesin NH-167 Haggeri-
JadcherlaRoad Project”.

Dear Sir,

With Reference to your quotation and subsequent discussions over telephone, we are pleased
to place the work order for execution of structure works in our NH-167 Road Project,
Km.182+120 to Km.227+650.

Scope of work: Construction and completion culverts (pipe and Box), bridges and
associated works as per the drawings, designs, methodology and specifications and
also adopt and accept to a reasonable extent any changes specified by
HLCPL/Authority’s Engineer in drawings, designs, specification, change of site without
any extra cost as per the description given in the enclosed schedule of works and rates
as per MORTH specifications.

a) The materials to be incorporated in the work shall be supplied by the HLCPL,

such as various grades of concrete mixes, at the respective work sites at the
specified. The TMT/HYSD/MS Bars will be issued at the central stores at
Maganoor camp site for incorporation in the work. Watch and ward of the
materials supplied by HLCPL shall be your scope.

b) All required steel shall be cut & bent as per Bar Bending Schedule issued to
Youat the stock yard provided in the camp site of HLCPL and the balance scrap
materials shall be returned to HLCPL and proper receipt shall be obtained from
HLCPL authorized representative.
All materials, tools, etc out of the scope of the You and supplied by HLCPL shall be
reconciled and accounted for at the time of RA bills.

You shall furnish designs and drawing of complete formwork including their supports for
approval of the Authority’s Engineer before erections. The design shall facilitate proper
and safe access to all parts of formwork for inspection.

You shall make all such requisite arrangements as are necessary to carry on and complete the
work within the time frame and to deploy sufficient and efficient Manpower and for their
payment, housing, feeding and transport.

You shall abide at all times by all existing labour enactments and rules made
thereunder, regulations, notifications and bye laws of the State or Central Government
or local authority and any other labour law (including rules), regulations, bye laws that
may be passed or notification that may be issued in future by the State or the Central
Government or the local authority.

Terms and Conditions:

i. HLCPL shall provide vehicle for transportation of steel to site but loading at
steel yard and unloading at work site location is under You scope.

ii. You shall be allowed to take the ready steel (after cutting & bending) of quantity
as per approved BBS only. There shall not be any additional steel for laps and
chairs as the quantity of steel against laps and chairs have already been taken
into account in the BBS provided to the You by HLCPL.

iii. Payment shall be made for the quantity as per approved BBS.

1. Concrete work:

a) All concrete required for the work shall be supplied by HLCPL through Transit
mixers. No concrete shall be placed in any part of the structure until the
approval of HLCPL/Authority’s Engineer has been obtained.

b) Concrete shall be thoroughly compacted by needle vibrators during placing. The

needle vibrators shall be under your scope. You should always keep additional
vibrators in working condition at site to avoid delay in works.
 c) Provision of Weep Holes as per the approved drawing is under You scope and
quality of the materials shall be certified and approved by HLCPL.

2. Other Terms & Conditions:

a) All safety arrangements at work location shall be done by You and materials
like sign boards, ribbon etc., shall be supplied by HLCPL at free of cost.
b) Construction of temporary camps etc., accommodation etc., all for Your labour
at work sites is under Your scope.

3. Payment of work Bills: All the running work Bills shall paid on bill to bill basis for
the works executed by youwhich shall be measured and duly certified by HLCPL.

4. No Advance Payments shall be entertained.

5. Retention Money: An amount equaling 5% of the bill value shall be retained from
each running bill as security deposit and the same shall be released after 6 months
of successful completion of your entire works. However, the retention money to be
returned is the actual money retained and no interest or what so ever shall be
paid.

Terms & Conditions:

1. You should submit the Aadhar Details of the Labourers engaged at our site work.
2. Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited at site, if found any, indispensable actions
shall be imposed.
3. The unit rates quoted as mentioned above of this work order shall remain unchanged till
the completion of the work and shall not be subjected to any kind of escalation or
variation for whatever reasons till the completion of the entire scope of work/contract
period.
4. Concrete of various grades as required shall be delivered at structure location.
5. Reinforcing steel as required and recommended by our Engineer shall be issued at our
central store/yard at Maganoor camp.
6. Any other materials, tools & shutters issued or supplied by HLC shall be reconciled,
accounted and charged accordingly.
 7. Should not create any problem in the neighborhood and with the local public. Care shall
be taken in the control on all issues which affect the smooth running of the work.
8. Payment shall be released within 30 days against your certified bill on quantity of work
executed after statutory tax deductions as applicable.
9. You are responsible for the safety of your staff and employees working in the area of
operation.
10. Highlane ConstructionsPrivate Limited reserves the right to terminate the contract at
any time even without prior notice.
11. In respect of all legal matters, jurisdiction shall be Makthal, Telangana.

Kindly acknowledge this letter of intent and confirm acceptance of the same by returning us a
copy of this work order duly signed.

I/we hereby declare that I/we agree to the above terms & conditions to carry out the contract
work in accordance with and acceptance of the above.
