REFERENCE : DILG Memorandum dated July 16,2021

SUMMARY This Department, in collaboration with MERALCO, will be


conducting a webinar on the Anti-obstruction of Power Lines
(AOPL) Act for Local Government Units (LGUs) on July 27,2021
for NCR-LGUs, 2:00PM via Microsoft Teams Live.

Said webinar aims to roll-out relevant provisions of the AOPL and


to create avenues for communication and resolution of issues,
including the rights and responsibilities of the LGUs, the public and
private property owners.

Related inquiries may be coursed through the Office of the


Assistant Secretary for Special Concerns-Local Government
Sector at email address: dilg.oasolp@gmail.cotr.

ACTIONS
REQUIRED All City Directors/MLGOO are hereby directed to:
1. Cause the widest dissemination of the invitation to the
concerned offices of respective LGUs;
2. Encourage the attendance of respective City/Municipal
Mayors, Vice-Mayors, Members of the Local Sanggunians,
Heads of the Legal Departments, Heads of Engineering
Deparments, and Building Officials; and,
3. Share the MS Team credentials below and disseminate the
activity details/instructions to the participants as provided in
Annex A of the said Memorandum:
