We are pleased to inform you that the Underwater Sports Federation of India (USFI) will be conducting National
Finswimming Championship at PONDA Swimming Pool, PONDA Sports Complex, GOA from 2nd to 4th Oct 2021.
Karnataka Underwater Sports & Finswimming Association (KUSFA) is an affiliated unit of the USFI and shall be the
registered body to send entries to the same from the state of Karnataka.
The Finswimming Championships will be conducted for Men & Women Categories. The eventsfor both Men
& Women will be as under.

Swimmer shall be allowed to enter in Maximum 4 Individual events at this championship excluding relays.
Swimmers who wish to participate in the National Championship must register themselves for the current year with
the KUSFA on or before the 20th Sep 2021. The registered swimmers will further be directed to seek valid ID cards
issued by the USFI.
Last Date for KUSFA Registration: 14th Sept 2021
Last Date for Entry Submission to USFI: 20th Sep 2021
ENTRY & REGISTRATION FEES: * to be remitted to KUSFA through the respective clubs
Nationals Championship Registration Fees Rs.100/- per swimmer,
Event Entry Fees Rs.400/-per swimmer (max 4 events)
Relay Team Entry – Rs.200/- per team
State Registration Fees for 2021/2022 – Rs. 500/- per swimmer
Instructions to the Club Heads
1. Link to upload entries of your swimmers will be shared shortly.
2. Link to upload the entries will be shared directly to those swimmers who fulfil the KUSFA registrations
on or before the 14th Sep 2021.
3. Clubs to share a list of swimmers to KUSFA on those interested along with their age groups as a reply to
this circular.
4. Please share a list of swimmers who wish to procure snorkels & monofins.
TECHNICAL HELP
A knowledge session (for the registered swimmers of KUSFA) will be held on the 14th September 2021 at 6.30
pm to understand the nuances of Finswimming as a sport. Respective Coaches & Swimmers are welcome to
attended the same.
A 1 week state camp (non residential) will also be conducted to train the coaches & swimmers ahead of the
National Championships.
COVID – 19 COMPULSORY GUIDELINES AT THE NATIONALS:
1. All participants and officials must bring Covid- 19 Test Negative Report, Mask and Social Distancing to be
maintained and it is mandatory for all on the venue of the event.
2. Accommodation and Food will be provided at nominal rates by Organizers on first cum first serve basis.
3. Only participants and team officials will be permitted in Sports Arena. No spectator/parents/relatives/Extra
officials will be permitted to enter in the venue premises.
