Overview
Textbook: Legal Aspects in tourism and Hospitality by: Mario H Maranan et al.
This subject concentrate to develop the knowledge of the students on pertinent legal aspects
affecting the Tourism and Hospitality industries, It capitalizes on the view that business
demands the supervision of germane laws, and adoption of these laws will guarantee the
success in the business word.
Course Learning Outcomes
At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:

Introduction
Managing a business is not an easy task. It involves different kinds of obligations that should
be given full attention by both the debtors and creditors considering the effects that it may give
to them as contracting parties.

accommodation, food and beverage establishments, transportation services, travel agencies,
