CONDITIONAL SENTENCES TYPE 1

A. Combine the following sentences using If Clause.


1. I can help you. If You tell me the truth. (permission)
2. You may eat the cake. If You wash your hands first. (permission)
3. We do not mind lending you some money. If You return it immediately. (permission)
4. If We have a map. We will not get lost. (General truth)
5. If You should find the key. We can open the door. (advice)
6. Applicants will be called for interview. If They pass written tests. (General truth)
7. Lions usually do not attack. If They are not hungry. (General truth)
8. If You do not ring the bell. The servant will not open the door for you. (General truth)
9. You will get an accident. If You are not careful. (General truth)
10. If He doesn’t hurry. He will be late for the train. (General truth)

B. Make conditional sentences based on the situations given. Do like the example.

Example:

Your sister wants to go to United Kingdom.

If she goes to United Kingdom, she can visit Oxford University.

1. Your friend wants to go to Singapore.


If your friend goes to Singapore, your friend can visit Marina Bay

2. My desk mate wants to go to Bangkok.


If your friend goes to Bangkok, your friend can visit The Grand Palace

3. You best friend wants to go to Malaysia.


If your best friend goes to Malaysia, your best friend can visit Twin Tower

4. Your brother and sister want to go to Paris.


If they goes to Paris, They can visit Eiffel Tower

5. My friends want to go to Seoul.


If they goes to Seoul, They can visit Seoul Tower

6. My family wants to go to Bali.


If they goes to Bali, They can visit Kuta Beach

7. Your parents want to go to Netherlands.


If Your parents goes to Netherlands, your parents can visit Amsterdam Canal

8. I want to go to Japan.
If you goes to Japan,
9. Ms. Lovina wants to go to Vietnam.
10. We want to go to Hongkong.
