RECOMMENDED MATERIALS - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

1. Information
WARNING: Before using any of the materials called out in this chapter, be aware of all handling, storage, and disposal
precautions recommended by the manufacturer or supplier.
The user should obtain the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) or Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from the manufacturers or suppliers of
the materials to be used. The user must be completely familiar with manufacturer/supplier information and adhere to the procedures,
recommendations, warnings and cautions set forth for the safe use, handling, storage, and disposal of the materials. The
recommended materials listed in the Tables as meeting federal, military or supplier specifications are provided for reference only
and are not specifically recommended by Beechcraft Corporation. The products included in these tables have been tested and
approved for usage by Beechcraft Corporation, by the supplier or by compliance with the applicable specification. Generic or locally
manufactured products which conform to the requirements of the specification listed may be used even though not included herein.
Only the basic number of each product specification is listed. No attempt has been made to update the listing to the latest revision. It
is the responsibility of the technician or mechanic to determine the current revision of the applicable specification prior to the usage
of the product listed. This can be done by contacting the supplier/manufacturer of the product to be used.
2. Recommended Materials
The tables below are divided into five columns:
• ITEM - this column provides a sequential list of the reference number assigned to each item of material. This item number is
used throughout the maintenance manual when reference is made to the material.
• MATERIALS - this column provides the name assigned to the material.
• SPECIFICATION - this column provides the specification that the material must be in compliance with.
• PRODUCT - this column provides the supplier`s item name or part number for the item.
• SUPPLIER/CAGE/WEBSITE - this column furnishes the supplier, cage code number assigned to the manufacturer/source
and website of the material. The technician may use an item from a different supplier as long as the item meets required
specification.
