Check if all lead screws and gears are clean and lubricated.

Verify the Table emergency stop and limit switches function correctly.

Verify the C-arm and assemblies function correctly: Up/down, rotation, X-Y movement and brakes, and
all lamps.

Verify the Compression functions correctly: Movement, brakes, lock, and breast tray position lock.

Inspect the Compression paddle clamp and lock for correct function and wear.

Verify the compression force is adjusted to correct specifications.

Beam alignment – Verify the Pivot Point (at 0, 90 and 180 degrees).

Beam alignment – Verify the Tube L/R alignment.

Beam alignment – Verify the Biopsy and Ancillary paddle alignment.

Beam alignment – Verify the Aperture Adjustment.

Beam alignment – Inspect the Breast platform integrity.

Beam alignment – QAS (10/20/30) test (perform at 0, 90 and 180 degrees).

Beam alignment – Verify filament standby voltage.

Beam alignment – Perform the kV accuracy.

Beam alignment – Verify the X-ray tube output rate.

Beam alignment – Verify the mA output at each kV station.

Beam alignment – Verify the Backup timer setting.

Beam alignment – Perform the Dark and White fields adjustment.

Manual mode compliance testing – HVL.

Manual mode compliance testing – Reproducibility.
