Picasso Painted and Sculpted Without Constraint To Express Himself

Pablo Picasso was a remarkable painter and sculptor whose art was a source of inspiration. He expressed himself freely without constraints, tackling different issues in society through his abstract, symbolic works depicting all aspects of life. His distorted shapes and figures made his style unique and open to many interpretations, allowing viewers to find their own meanings and imaginative thoughts within the sweet chaos of his paintings. All gestalt principles of design, including proximity, similarity, figure-ground relationships, and continuity were present in Picasso's works, aiding viewers' perception and interpretation of the whole images.

Picasso painted and sculpted without constraint to express himself.

He shows us
all aspects of life, light and dark, its sorrows, its joys and its pleasures. This is why
he inspires.
Pablo Picasso is a remarkable sculptor and painter, for me his arts are amazing
and a source of inspiration. I can see the freedom and liberation from his
paintings, he did not constrain himself to express what he wanted to express.
Each painting contains a lot of deep meanings and symbolisms, it shows all
aspects of life (base from his other works), light and dark, it has sorrow, joy,
chaos, pleasure, and other sorts of emotions and by watching his painting I can
feel those sorts of emotions. It has a lot of shapes, vibrant colors are also used,
and the dimension and symmetry is not quite prominent in his artworks. The
faces are mostly distorted and I find it fascinating because for me it shows that no
being is perfect and we all have our own flaws and beauty.

His artworks tackles about different kinds of issues in the society. Also, the
distorted body, faces and shapes made his artworks his own style. The trickiness
of the artwork can make you wonder what’s the true meaning and intentions of
that painting. Because it is abstract-like painting many interpretations can be
made just by looking at it, you can make your own interpretation to the painting
because it looks like a sweet chaos and it does not constrain your imaginative
thoughts.

I think all the gestalt principles is present in those 4 artworks os Picasso. It has
proximity in it, similarity, figure-ground, symmetry. Closure, enclosure,
connection and lastly continuity. Gestalt theory allows communicators to predict how
viewers will respond to design elements. And with all the gestalt principle present in those 4
aartworks the person watching it can now interpret and explain how the whole image is
perceive.
