Introduction
Traceability is the process of recording all the information corresponding to the
elements involved in the history of a product, from birth to the end of the marketing
chain. Are those pre-established and self-sufficient procedures that allow knowing the
history, location and trajectory of a product or batch of products along the supply chain
at a given time, through specific tools.
In the present work some questions related to the traceability of the products will be
developed and topics will be planted according to our training project of logistics
management technologist.

Study the traceability material and relate the concepts to our training project.
Specific objectives
Define the criteria for the traceability of a product.
Indicate the type of traceability that we will use in our project.
Show the traceability alternatives to meet the goals of the company.
Highlight the benefits of applying the principles of traceability.

Product Traceability
1. What type of traceability are you going to use according to your project?
¿Qué tipo de trazabilidad va a usar según su proyecto formativo?
El tipo de trazabilidad que utilizaremos en nuestro proyecto formativo será la
trazabilidad interna o de procesos, ya que va a permitir realizar el proceso de
seguimiento de los productos dentro de la empresa y la información del proveedor. Este
tipo de trazabilidad mejorara la eficiencia de recopilación de datos, el control de la
planta y el aseguramiento de la calidad.
The type of traceability that we will use in our training project will be the internal or
process traceability, since it will allow to carry out the process of monitoring the
products within the company and the information of the supplier. This type of
traceability will improve the efficiency of data collection, the control of the plant and
the assurance of quality.
2. What alternative way (manual – automatic) are you going to implement
regarding your project?
¿Qué tipo de alternativas (manual o automático) implementará en su proyecto
formativo?
Nosotros vamos a implementar la alternativa de trazabilidad automatizada (código de
barras), la cual nos facilitara llevar un registro en un sistema de información de los lotes
que la empresa produce. Así mismo la generación y captura de información con código
de barras y el almacenamiento de la información de trazabilidad y también por que
requiere de una inversión mediana de capital.
we are going to implement the automated traceability alternative (barcode), which will
facilitate us keeping a record in a system of information of the lots that the company
produces. likewise the generation and capture of information with barcode and the
storage of traceability information and also because it requires a medium capital
investment.
3. Which benefits will the implemented traceability would bring to your project?
¿Qué tipo de beneficios traerá la trazabilidad implementada en su proyecto
formativo?
Los beneficios serán:
ayudar a mejorar el control interno de la mercancía.
automatizar la entrada de los datos sobre productos.
mejorar la disponibilidad de la información.
mejorar la velocidad en los datos de transmisión.
realizar un mayor control en las expediciones de transporte, mejorando la
gestión de stocks, dando mejor servicio.

The benefits will be:
help improve the internal control of the merchandise.
automate the entry of product data.
improve the availability of information.
improve the speed in the transmission data.
To carry out a greater control in the transport expeditions, improving the
management of stocks, giving better service.

Conclusions
With the article previously exposed, the importance of traceability in all productive
sectors is clear, since it allows to keep track of and the conditions throughout the
process of the marketing chain. It is also important not only to know what happens
throughout the supply chain process, traceability is a very useful tool for the commercial
and marketing department, because through it they can know exactly the whole process
that this product has. of doors for outside. Storage time, counter time, determine when a
batch of product is being left unsold, this allows you to react and create sales strategies
so as not to lose the product and at the same time it is a big bell to restructure the
marketing strategy in that region.
