abandoned elderly, and Indigent Families
IV. TIME FRAME: June 20,2021 at 10:00 am
V. VENUE: SEKYO IGAY

VI. RATIONALE:
The COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM focuses on the immediate intervention, preventive and
developmental services implemented in the community. It sees people as being continually able to move
forward in a life-long process of self-realization or fulfilment of potential. It sees people as facing difficult
developmental stages, life situations, challenges, stresses and financial crisis with which they must cope. It is
concerned with recognizing and building on strengths with ways of more effective coping.
Realizing the significance of supporting those in crisis, The AJC SISTERS and the PADRE PIO’S HOME FOR
CHILDREN came up with the advocacy in improving the community by observing what is lacking and planning
on what we can do to help. Within 1-2 hours that we’re going to spend in this activity, we’ll be able to help,
contribute and alleviate the sufferings of those in poverty. Through the concerted efforts and willingness of
the Working Committees, stages of development are reached with the appropriate services in an efficient and
effective delivery.

VII. OBJECTIVES:

1.To respond effectively to the multiple needs of the poor through social services towards integral human
development.
2. To imbibe the Marian Spirituality and living out of Christian values for social transformation.
3. To restore and enhance the Social Functioning of people living in situations of poverty.
4. To serve as a venue for exposure, immersion for community development.
5. To maximize and intensify tie-ups, linkages and networking for a more effective and efficient program and
service delivery.
