IP - 192.168.1.1 Subnet - 255.255.255.0 Gateway - 192.16.1.10 DNS - 192.168.1.1

The document discusses configuring a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server to automatically assign IP addresses and other network parameters to client devices on a school network. It describes how DHCP reduces network administration workload by automating IP address assignment. The solution section recommends using a server computer as the DHCP server to provide IP addresses and other information to many student clients on a large school network in a way that is easy to manage and reduces costs compared to having multiple administrators. Screenshots then show the step-by-step process for installing and configuring the DHCP server role on a Windows server.
