PRAYER POINTS:
Repentance from sins
1. That as a nation, people will come to know their sins of idolatry, be
enlightened and repent from worshipping idols acknowledging that it mocks
the name of the Lord, the God of heaven and earth, for what the Lord our
God asks of all the people is to fear Him, to walk in obedience to Him, to
love Him, to serve Him with all our heart and with all our soul.
2. That all people who practice witchcraft, lovers of themselves, lovers of
money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful,
unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal,
not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure
rather than lovers of God— all these kind of people will come to
repentance through the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, the mercy and
grace of God, and be reached out by the gospel of Christ, and ultimately
receive God’s gift of salvation.
Prayer for the family
1. That fathers will stand as spiritual leaders in every family, loving their wives
as Jesus loves the Church, and training their children in the ways of the
Lord.
2. That fathers will always emulate Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord
and inquire from His word in everything, as he daily commune with Him in
his devotion.
3. Wives will submit to their husbands, support and pray for them in every
endeavor and as Mothers they will train their children in the way of the
Lord, be quiet in spirit, gentle in all their ways and prayerful, always
interceding and ready to serve the Lord in everything.
4. That children will understand the command of God to obey their parents in
everything so that they will gain His promise to have long life and be
blessed in the land.
5. That each family will be able to choose, declare and experience God's word
in Joshua 24:15, "But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord."
6. That each family will have an altar of prayer at home and devote time to
study God’s word and pray together.
Prayer for the church
1. That the church will be steadfast in its calling to be the body of Christ, holy
and blameless.
2. Will continue to work for Jesus that its deeds, its love and faith, its service
and perseverance, and that what it was doing will be more than it did at
first.
3. That the church will be obedient to do the Great Commission and that is to
do evangelism, spreading the good news of the Gospel.
Prayer for the nation
1. That God will touch and enlighten the spirit, heart and mind of our
government leaders and be open to His words in the Bible such that
through them we will experience true good government where peace,
justice, love and real progress will reign.
2. That God will make our leaders govern by the empowerment of the Holy
Spirit, lead by His wisdom and strengthened by the conviction of His divine
truth in the Bible.
3. That God will mightily appoint and raise up Godly leaders who will support
the work for the spreading of His word in their respective offices.
4. That the Holy Spirit will mightily move for salvation to flow in the different
sectors of our society even through the social media, airwaves, television
channels and in all other media platforms.
5. That true Christians working in the different sectors of the society will stand
as light tower of prayers to intercede for their respective offices, cities,
nation, and families in order for God to dispatch angels to guard and fight
for all forms of traps, attacks and schemes of the enemy.
6. That Christians will have the courage, boldness and protection to become
true light and salt in their respective workplace.

Prayer for the youth
1. That the Holy Spirit will stir, touch the hearts of the youth and allow them to
have a unique and personal encounter with Jesus as God’s promise in Acts
2:17 says ‘In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons
and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men
will dream dreams.
2. That the youth will hunger and thirst in His word and will grow in their
relationship with Him.
3. That they will rise up to become leaders in the church and be bold as
sharers of God’s word.
4. That the Holy Spirit will convict them of sins, free them from the chains of
oppression and deceptions in their lives through the power of the blood of
Jesus.
5. That the Lord will send angels as ministering spirits to every youth as God’s
promise to serve those who will inherit salvation.
6. That every youth will have the conviction from the Holy Spirit to repent from
rebelliousness, stubbornness, break all altars of idolatry especially with
gadgets and use of social media, and that they will love and serve the Lord
with all their heart, mind and strength.
