1. What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of relying
and applying online navigation in gathering specific information?
Advantages Disadvantages
Ease of data gathering. not knowing if its accurate or not
Automation in data input and. Inability to reach challenging
handling. population.
Minimal costs. Survey fraud.
2. The internet offers a great source of information; however, how are you
going to make sure that these pieces of information are reliable?
A: - Throughout this module I have learned that the internet consists of a
variety of information that can be readily accessible through search
engines. This is why, we do online navigation. But not all information is
relatable to my topic and not all information can be readily accessed. As a
learner, I have the opportunity to gather specific details depending on the
situation presented to me. Yet, I always have to be reminded that not all
information is vital and not all information is a good one.
By checking the background and feedbacks about the websites that I am
browsing in or if I can compare it to other websites that's been verified as
reliable, then I can trust that website. I am always checking the source of
the news and information. To ensure that the information came from a
reputable source like high rating websites and pages. And one way is to not
look at Wikipedia and sites where anyone has the access to edit it at any
time. Sites that are .com or .org are usually from a direct and safe source.
Staying away from media websites and if I believe something isn't right,
doing further research is the best option because Aside from verifying from
several sources, I can develop a critical mind-set and perform more
investigation regarding the information that i need. This will always help us
to spot fake news and real news.
Using your Social Media accounts,
A. Create a slogan or campaign regarding proper and responsible use of internet. Use the
tag, “#ThinkBeforeYouClick”!
B. Tag your subject teacher to have your activity be recorded for your performance.

Enhance your understanding of these technologies by online navigating these
specific future technologies for:
A. Post-Coronavirus technology - COVID-19 is a global pandemic. Now, it’s the
greatest challenge the world has faced in decades. In just a few short months, it
transformed people’s lives on an unprecedented scale, impacted every industry, and
altered the course of companies’ growth. But the pandemic has not slowed
innovation—it’s amplifying it to historic levels. COVID-19 has transformed the role
and importance of digital experiences in people’s lives. In the short-term, people are
changing, and enterprises should update their personalization strategies to keep up.
During covid-19 the purpose of a digital experience is completely
transformed. Already human-AI collaboration is playing a role in the race to find a
COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 will enable us to see human-AI collaboration at its
best, potentially easing people’s concerns about the technology. Robots are taking
on new responsibilities during the pandemic. Smart devices are becoming tools in the
fight against COVID-19 Many robotic devices have been rapidly updated or
repurposed for COVID-19, enforcing safe distancing in public spaces, dispensing
hand sanitizer, and more. Where introducing new features and functionality may
have upset people in the past, they are now much more welcome in the context of
COVID-19.
B. Transportation - As technologies like AI, data science, manufacturing and deep
learning become more advanced, so too will vehicles themselves. These fields act as
the backbone for everything from autonomous vehicles to aerospace travel, and even
function as the basis for transportation platforms like Uber and Lyft. Connected and
autonomous vehicle technology will help optimize roadway utilization, potentially
saving billions in future infrastructure expansion. The transportation systems around
which the modern world has been built are on the verge of
a significant transformation. Hyperloop is one of the most trending technologies in the
field of transportation. It a tube that uses physical properties of vacuum to transport
users from one place to another. This Hyperloop can travel at a speed of 700 mph.
The Hyperloop projects are developing at various locations across the globe. Beside
Hyperloop other popular transportation are lightweight vehicles- Automobile
manufacturers are working high to deliver vehicles that are efficient and give high
performance. Delivery drones - Companies like Amazon, UPS, DHL, etc are working
to develop the drones for the fast miles delivery. Creating such drones is a
technological challenge. Bicycle Sharing System- Users who don’t want to travel
through the main transport hubs can use a bicycle as an alternative. Flying Taxis -
Whether it is a start-up or large companies, flying taxis will be the future of the
transportation industry. Uber has announced to come up with flying taxis by 2023,
under the assistance of NASA. All of these new technologies will sure help the
mankind and take a huge steps towards a happy future.
C. Communication - Communication technology is the transfer of messages
(information) among people and/or machines through the use of technology. This
processing of information can help people make decisions, solve problems, and
control machines. Communications technology, also known as information
technology, refers to all equipment and programs that are used to process and
communicate information. Professionals in the communication technology field
specialize in the development, installation, and service of these hardware and
software systems. Types of communication technology include: email, texting, instant
messaging, social networking, tweeting, blogging and video conferencing. These
technological resources make it possible for people to communicate. In this new era
or the new generation communication is must that everyone needs to understand
and the best way to use it for our own good. ICT or Information communication and
technology is the set of tools in technology that are used to create, communicate,
share, and information manages all about computers, and system stuff. It is all about
how we use technology. Technology has made communication much easier in
several ways. Not only we can share information quickly and reduce the impact of
language differences and distance, but you can save time and money
using technology to communicate and reach as wide an audience as you need.
