Situated in the elite residential neighborhood of Kebayoran Baru, Plataran
Dharmawangsa presents authentic Indonesian cuisine in an atmosphere of
Javanese royalty. Since its inception, the restaurant has consistently received
recognition and awards, including ‘Best Indonesian Restaurant in Jakarta’ by
the prestigious Indonesia Tatler, and is the choice dining venue for Jakarta’s
high society and expatriate crowd. This exclusive venue and dining place
covers an area of 1,500m2 (excluding parking area), with a cozy and refreshing
ambience, typical of the elite Dharmawangsa feel.
Designed to resemble a traditional royal Javanese family compound, the
restaurant includes a 150-year-old wooden heritage Joglo house, wooden
Javanese pavilions, a prayer house aged more than 50 years old, and an
elegant glass-roofed conservatory that overlooks a beautiful tempo doeloe-
style garden, so characteristic of houses in this exclusive area.
All of the dining rooms in Plataran Dharmawangsa are fully equipped with
facilities of international hotel and resorts standards, along with a special
Surau facility in which to conduct prayers. Plataran Dharmawangsa is an
exclusive venue with an atmosphere of Javanese royalty; elegance that’s
ideally suited to both lunch and dinner, as well as tea and coffee time with
family and colleagues. This venue is also the perfect place for weddings,
birthdays, corporate gatherings, product launching, and other formal events.
