Activity 2: Discovering My Life’s Calling

Discovering your life’s true calling- Lou Sabrina Ongkiko. What is your life’s
true calling? How can you apply that in your calling to teach?

We were put on this earth to do something wonderful with our life. Our job is to find out
what that wonderful thing is and then to throw our whole heart into doing it extremely well.

In his talk, I admired Lou Sabrina Ongkiko, a teacher. "The call has always been to love,"
she explained. What will you do if you can't love? Our purpose becomes evident when we love,
when we seek to love. As we continue to hope and think that we love, we are more determined to
confront our context. She is an excellent speaker, motivator, and inspiration for individuals who
need a boost in their spirits.

We're in a scenario where we're always comparing ourselves to others, and some people
keep asking us what we want to be, when we'll start, and where we'll end up. On the other hand, I
find myself asking the same questions over and over again. I have many objectives and dreams
in life, but I want to pursue education because I want to teach people and make a difference in
their lives. Others have inquired as to why. What's the point of just becoming a teacher? And I
am always available to respond. I picked this profession because I believe I am passionate about
everything, particularly in my field. I wish to become a wise reason. With that, I will stand up for
what I believe in and what my heart desires.I initially believed that teaching would not suit my
nature because I dislike associating with others, but I later understood this and overcame my
worries by participating in various activities and competitions at school. Fear of public speaking
is no longer an impediment to obtaining the degree I desire.

For those poisonous words that suffocate me and leave scars on my tender heart and
mind. I'd love to tell them that I am who I am and that I have my own set of choices and options
in life. I consider myself fortunate and glad to have the opportunity to follow my aspirations and
become anyone I want to be. In difficult times, I constantly pray and know that God is always by
my side. My family is also incredibly supportive and reminds me that this is just a stepping stone
to my ambition, and it is because of them that I am motivated to strive and pursue my true
calling. I know it's not easy, but I have faith in myself and know that teaching is my passion.
That is why I have chosen and pursued this path. I am fortunate to have discovered and seen
mine. As proud as my family, which is my inspiration. This is God's plan for me, not just my
desire.
