GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING PROJECT WORK IN SOCIAL SCIENCE(2021-22)

CLASS- X SUBJECT- SOCIAL SCIENCE (Consumer Awareness)


1. The total length of the project work should not be more than 15 pages.
2. Use A4 size paper for preparing the project work .( page used for photo copy)
3. Only one side of each page is to be used for writing.
4. The project work will be handwritten and credit will be awarded to original drawings.
5. The project report will be presented in a neatly bound simple folder which should be
covered well using brown paper and contains the essential information on it.)
6. Avoid using ball pen and sketch pen.
7. Use only blue and black pen ink/gel pen. Black for heading only.
8. Avoid plastic cover for covering the file.
9. The project report will be developed in this sequence:-
 Cover page showing project title, student information, school and year
(without page number)
 Preface (without page number)
 Acknowledgement (acknowledging the institution, offices and libraries and
person who have helped) (without page number)
 List of contents or index (without page number)
 Introduction (page* number 1 starts from here which continues till last
page used in project work i.e. Teacher’s report)
 Sub topics (follow points to be covered mentioned at the bottom of the
notice. Mention number as it is mentioned there)
 Planning and activities to be done during the project, if any
 Conclusion
 Bibliography (sites consulted, authors with their books)
 Picture gallery (labelling of the pictures)
 Teacher’s report

*Page number should be mentioned at the bottom in the middle portion of each page like
this (1)

Teacher’s report in the given proforma in one page only will be attached at the end of the
report
