1. Former President Barack Obama proclaimed how thankful he is to every persons
who willingly lend their hands to help and support him. The very first individual he
mentioned was his wife, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson who became a role model to the
new generation. He said that he was delighted and extremely proud to have two
beautiful daughters, Malia and Sasha, who continuously support him every now and
then. Joe Biden, whom he considered a family, was recognized in his speech as the
best decision that Obama made when he was still a nominee. He also acknowledged
his remarkable staff and every people out there that helped him to be a best leader and
President. He’s certain that these people will make a difference in this imperfect world.
2. Barack Obama blatantly point out his dreams and hopes for the United States. He
wanted every people living in this country to embrace change and never fear it. He can’t
wait to see the future for he knew it is more than his expectations. He wanted everyone
to carry the word believe and apply it in bringing about change, the change that all
Americans are waiting for.
3. Obama describe the younger American generation as unselfish, altruistic, creative,
and patriotic. He believed that the future of America is in its youngsters’ hands. Young
generation must be fully equipped to embrace the change that is happening all around
the world and the American government will be there to support these youngsters
because they will be the one to save the country of America.
4. Obama epitomize his experience in serving the country as fruitful and meaningful. He
knew that his hardworks weren’t wasted because he can see it with his own eyes that
many living souls were inspired and changed beautifully during his term. As a president
for 8 consecutive years, it has been the honor of his life to serve his country.
5. Barack Obama’s last requests to the American people is to remain tightly secured to
the power of believing. He give credence to the word ‘believe’ because it is the source
and the strength of everything toward which we can hope in this generation. People
believed in his ability and now it’s his turn to do the same: To believe in his countrymen.
He also wanted the Americans to believe not to him but to themselves.
6. Obama’s ‘Yes we did. Yes we can’ were the six words that define his farewell
address to the nation. What he meant by this is that they did made it to foster the
treasure that America has. They did conquer all the obstacles during his presidency and
now he believes that they can still do it even though he’s no longer the person who
holds the highest position in the country. Yes they can do it…together as they
harmoniously dance in the beat of life.
