Characterization Salcare® Super 7, Salcare® Super 7 AT1, are a highly concentrated cationic aqueous
solution of a diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride and acrylamide copolymer.

Typical Salcare® Super 7, Salcare® Super 7 AT1, are designed for use in a range of
applications in the cosmetics industry.
Salcare® Super 7:
Contains for microbiologicalstabilisation preservatives:
0.4% Phenoxyethanol (and) Methylparabene (and) Ethylparabene (and) Propyl
parabene (and) Butylparabene (and) Isobutylparabene
Salcare® Super 7 AT1:
It is parabene-free and contains the preservative system: 0.8 % Euxyl PE 9010
(90% phenoxyethanol + 10% ethylhexylglycerine)
Applications It is a highly substantive aqueous cationic polymer for use in skin and hair care
formulations.
Performance Efficient conditioning at low concentrations; more cost effective than existing low
solids Polyquaternium-7.
Highlights Readily soluble in water to give clear products.
Compatible with anionic, amphoteric, cationic and nonionic surfactants.
Imparts slip and lubricity to formulations.

Salcare® Super 7, Salcare® Super 7 AT1, also can be used in foam baths, suntan
lotion, lip preparations, etc.
Assistance can also be offered to solve individual formulation problems.
Packaging Salcare® Super 7, Salcare® Super 7 AT1, are available in 25 kg and 220 kg
drums.

Stability/Storage The product is stable when stored in the original sealed containers between 10 – 30 °C
for 24 months.
Temperatur below 10 °C can solidify the product on freezing which is reversible
when warning the product up to 30 °C
