Very Relevant

 Crisostomo Ibarra represent our president who has  a liberal mind. Outspoken and
idealistic Patient and serious man He becomes very violent and impulsive when
provoked
 Elias is very relevant in today’s social issue because he represents common Filipinos
who’s willing to fight against the injustices of our country.
 Dona Victorina represent those people who are willing to do anything just for social
media or in short the “social climbers”.

 Maria Clara is somewhat relevant in today's generation since, as seen in Rizal's writings,
she was constructed as the ideal picture of "the purity and innocent woman," which no
longer exists because women nowadays are more into the fashion trend of wearing
revealing clothing.
 Padre Damaso is somewhat relevant in today’s social issues because he represents the
bad government officials.
 Sisa represents the families who lost their loved ones from COVID.
