ZONE 1
Preliminary planning commenced for Zone 1 Traherne Island area
Interfacing with Geotech designers continues
Construction programme continues to be developed
Procurement strategies for wick drains required
AREA WEST - Zones 2 and 3
SITE COMPOUND / TAPC
Scope determined with TAPC – works commence next week
Design plans developed for access, site works and compound offices to be confirmed
Issue with SW drainage to be resolved
Procurement of buildings and IT critical
TTM planning to relocate cycleway to shoulder of SH16 WB
Planning to establish site compound at Yard 2
Preliminary discussions held with Raceway Stakeholders wrt to RW’s in this area

TTM MX-design 75% complete
WCA for basalt revetment rock declined due to compliance and coordination issues
Structures – Travis Skaines
Northern VE option at WRB declined
WRB western access option needs to be revisited internally and with NZTA
Staging design, temp works designer required
Work method / construction staging plans developed
Programme to be developed – 80% Complete
Decision required in terms of construction staging wrt to building north or southern widening sequence –
North option preferred pending outcome of SW Access discussion with NZTA above
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT – Dave Philip, Pauline Nobbs
Daily TTM operations being managed without issue
MX modelling and detailed TTM staging 75$ complete
Draft CTMP needs review for approval / acceptance
Draft departure for 3.1m lanes prepared for review
Coordination meetings with WCA being held weekly
TTM applications required for the following approvals:
Pedestrian relocations
Bus lane closures
Closing of T2 lanes at GNRI and Pakiti
