Rolim’s Book of Tea Recipes

Tea Name: Firebrand Tea


Region of Origin: El Gaian Special (Therna)
Ingredients used:
Red leaves found in Therna (Ember Briar)
Water
Brew Time: 3 - 6 minutes
Recipe: Heat pan of water. Once the water starts boiling
remove from heat and add the Ember Briar leaves.
Cover the pan for a minute. Strain the firebrand tea
into the cups.
Flavor Results: The overall taste gives off a very
satisfying feel to one's mouth reminding them perhaps
of being in front of a cozy warm fire.It overall
brings about a calming mindset to the one
drinking the tea.
Appearance Results: Deep crimson color
Tea Name: Green Tea
Region of Origin: Unknown
Ingredients used:
2 teaspoons Green tea leaves
2 cups Water
Honey, (optional) to taste
Brew Time: 5 minutes
Recipe: Heat pan of water. Once the water starts boiling
remove from heat and add the green tea leaves. Cover
the pan for a minute. Strain the green tea into the
cups. The honey is optional.
Flavor Results: The tea is a sweet taste to it perhaps
even a bit bitter to the taste.
Appearance Results: Light green color
Tea Name: Basic Boba Tea
Region of Origin: Rolim Special
Ingredients used:
1 ½ cups of Black tapioca
7 cups of water
1 cup of Sugar
3 tablespoons of soaking syrup
¼ cup of milk
Brew Time: 40 minutes
Recipe: Cook 1 1/2 cups large black tapioca in
boiling water, 6 minutes; cover and let sit off the
heat, 30 minutes. Bring 1 cup each water and sugar to
a boil; transfer to a bowl. Drain the tapioca and soak
in the sugar syrup. To serve, put 1/4 cup tapioca in a
glass. Shake 1 cup cold green tea, 3 tablespoons
soaking syrup, 1/4 cup milk; pour over the tapioca.
Flavor Results: The flavor is a milky taste overall
that can be altered by extra ingredients however it
is a calming taste. The pearls add an extra feature to
the drink that is a soft ball that gets swallowed.
After drinking boba the person will be left rather
satisfied.
Appearance Results: Light brown color with a small
layer of bubbles at the top and pearls throughout
the lower half of the drink.
Tea Name: Blue Butterfly Pea Flower Tea
Region of Origin: Kat’s desire for this tea
Ingredients used:
¼ cup dried blue butterfly pea flower tea flowers,
food grade
1-2 cups hot water
1 teaspoon wildflower honey, amount to taste
1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice, fresh squeezed
2 lemons or lime slices or wedges to garnish
2 cups ice cubes, if serving iced, amount to taste
Brew Time: 15 minutes
Recipe: If hot heat kettle over high heat. Add ¼ cup
butterfly pea flower tea flowers into a mesh tea
ball and add to a large glass. Pour the hot water
over the tea ball and allow it to steep for 3-8
minutes depending on how dark you wish it to bed.
If serving hot put one cup of ice into a glass. Pour
the hot tea over the ice within the glass. Add lemon
or lime juice to your liking then garnish with
either lemon or lime wedges. Drizzle with honey as a
bonus if you so wish.
Flavor Results: The tea is a sweet taste to it perhaps
even a bit bitter to the taste but not as strong as
that of green tea and it gives a bit of an earthy
taste as well.
Appearance Results: Darkish blue with a purplish tint
Tea Name: Friendship Tea
Region of Origin: Rolim’s special
Ingredients used:
1 cup instant tea mix
1 ¾ cups instant lemonade mix
20 ounces Tang
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 ½ teaspoons ground cloves
Brew Time: 5 minutes
Recipe: Mix all ingredients together to blend well.
To serve, mix 2-3 teaspoons of tea mix within boiling
water. The drink will fizz so don’t fill the glass
to the top.
Flavor Results: The tea has a tangy taste with a kick
of lemon but overall, it gives off the feeling of
warmth and like a hug. This is a friendship tea after
all and you can surely feel it.
Appearance Results: Bright orange with a yellowish tint
Tea Name: Voidka Tea
Region of Origin: Rolim’s special
Ingredients used:
2 teaspoons Green tea leaves
2 cups Water
Bottle of Voidka
Brew Time: 5 minutes
Recipe: Heat pan of water. Once the water starts boiling
remove from heat and add the green tea leaves. Cover
the pan for a minute. Strain the green tea into the
cups. Then apply voidka to the drink while it is
still warm and mix it in until the tea is well
mixed and a black color.
Flavor Results: The tea is tasteless until it passes
down into ashes taste wise. It also drains magic from
people…
Appearance Results: A blackened color
