The Bandeja Paisa is one of the most traditional Colombian dishes that originated in the Antioquia region of Colombia. It consists of 3 sentences or less: The meal includes rice, beans, fried plantains, steak, chorizos, fried eggs, avocado and a sauce called hogao which is made from onions, garlic and tomatoes. All the ingredients are served on the same plate for a hearty and filling one-plate meal representing the cuisine of Colombia's Antioquia region.

The Bandeja Paisa


It’s one of the most traditional Colombian foods can be found in many parts of Colombia, but the meal has roots
in the Antioquia region of the country, which encompasses Medellín, Guatapé, Rionegro and more

Cooking Method
Ingredients
1.First put beans into a glass of water for the whole
night.

2. After doing that, boil the beans to a medium heat.


Cups white
Cups Pork Skin 3. One hour later, add carrot, guios, salt and wait around
60 minutes for it to be cooked.
Chorizos
Eggs 3. Put oil in a pan and heat it up, then add onion, garlic
and cook them until they get soft. Reduce heat as long
Plantains baken as the sauce starts getting formed (This sauce is called
Lime for garnish "Hogao").

Avocadoes for garnish 4.Prepare a beef steak and add garlic, onion, cumin, salt
4 fried eggs sunny side up and pepper to it. Boil it and then cut it into pieces so
that we get ground meet.

1 recipe hogao 5.Put the beans, "hogao" and the ground beef in the
refrigerator one day before serving them.

6. For the next day, heat up the beans with white rice,
the ground beef and the "Hogao".

7.Fry green bananas with oil or you can bake them as a


healthy option.

8.Fry eggs and "chorizos".

9. When serving it, put the ingredients as you prefer and


don't forget the sliced or diced avocado.

10. Cover the beef with the "chorizo".

11. Put the "hogao" aside.

12.Enjoy!
