Narrator : Welcome everybody to our play,

Listen closely and learn something today.

So pay attention, concentrate well,

To the marvellous story we are going to tell.

Narrator : A Mouse took a stroll to the deep dark wood.

A Fox saw the Mouse and the Mouse looked good.

Song for the Mouse ( 1 and 2 grade) Song for the Fox ( 1 and 2 grade)

Owls: Where are you going, little Brown Mouse?

Come and have breakfast in our treetop house?

Mouse: So nice of you owls, but no.

İ’m going to have breakfast with Gruffalo

Owls: A Gruffalo? What’s a Gruffalo?

Mouse: A Gruffalo! You don’t know?


Narrator: He has terrible tusks

And terrible claws,

And terrible teeth in his terrible jaws.

Owls: Where are you going to meet him?

Mouse: Here by these rocks

And his favourite food is owl ice cream

Owls: Owl Ice-Cream !! I’m off. Goodbye, little Mouse.

Narrator: And away he sped to their treetop house.

Mouse: Silly old Owls! Don’t they know?

There’s no such a thing as a Gruffalo!

Narrator : The mouse went to the deep dark wood.

The wild cats saw the mouse and the mouse looked good.
Song for the Wild Cat ( 1 and 2 grade)

Wil Cats : Where are you going, little Brown Mouse?

Come and have lunch in our house?

Mouse: It’s amazing of you Wild Cat, but no.

I’m going to have lunch with Gruffalo.

Wild Cat: A Gruffalo? What’s a Gruffalo?

Mouse: A Gruffalo! You don’t know?

Narrator : He has big arms and big hands and big ears

Wild Cat: Where are you going to meet him?

Mouse: Here by this bush

And his favourite food is Wild Cat crunch

Wild Cat: Wild Cat Crunch! I have to go.

Goodbye, little Mouse.

Narrator : And the Wild Cats ran away

Mouse: Silly old Wild Cat! Don’t they know?

There’s no such a thing as a Gruffalo!


Narrator Hamza : The mice went to the deep dark wood.

The Lions saw the mouse and the mouse looked good.
Song for the Lion( 1 and 2 grade)

Lion : Where are you going, little Brown Mouse?

Come and have some dinner in my house?

Mouse: İt’s so sympathic of you, but no.

İ’m going to have dinner with Gruffalo.

Lion: A Gruffalo? What’s a Gruffalo?

Mouse: A Gruffalo! You don’t know?

Narrator : He is enormerous and strong

And has a big black tongue

Lion: Where are you going to meet him?

Mouse: Here by this tree rocks

And his favourite food is Lion stock

Lion: Lion stock! Roar i’m off

Goodbye, little Mouse.

Narrator :And the Lion ran away

Mouse: Silly old Lions! Don’t they know! There’s no such a thing as a Gruffalo!

Narrator : The mice went to the deep dark wood.

The snakes saw the mice and the mice looked good.
Song for the Snake( 1 and 2 grade)

Snake : Where are you going, little Brown Mouse?

Come for a drink in my logpile house?

Mouse: İt’s so nice of you, but no.

İ’m going for a drink with Gruffalo.

Snake: A Gruffalo? What’s a Gruffalo?

Mouse: A Gruffalo! You don’t know?

Narrator : (Zeynep) : His eyes are orange, Hid tongue is black

He has purple pricles all over his back.

Snake: Where are you going to meet him?

Mouse: Here by this lake

And his favourite food is scramble snake

Snake: Scramble Snake! İt!’s time i hid

Goodbye, little Mouse.

Narrator : And away snakes slide away

Mouse: Silly old Snakes! Don’t they know?

Song Gruffalo ( 1 and 2 grade)

Narrator( Zeynep) But who is the creature with terrible claws

And terrible teeth in his terrible jaws?

He has knobbly knees and turned-out toes

Narrator ( Zeynep) And a poisonous wart at the end of his nose.

His eyes are orange, his tongue is black

He has purple prickes all over his back

Mouse: OH help! Oh no!

İt’s a Gruffalo!

Gruffalo : Hummm! My favourite food!

Gruffalo: You will taste good on a slide of bread

Mouse: Good, good, dont’t call me good!

İ’m the scariest creature in this wood.

Just walk behind me and soon you will see

Everyone is affraid of me

Song for the Breave Mouse ( 1 and 2 grade)

Gruffalo: All right

You go ahead and i will follow you after


Narrator : They walked and walked till the Gruffalo said

Gruffalo: İ listen a hiss in the ahead.

Mouse: İt’s Snake, it’s snake.

Hello Snake

Snake: Oh Crumb’s, Goodbye little Mouse

Narrator : And off the slid to her logpile house

Mouse: You see, you see?

İ told you so

Gruffalo: Amazing

Narrator : They walked some more till the Gruffalo said

Gruffalo: İ listen a Big roar near by

Mouse: İt’s Lion, and Wid Cat

Hello everyone

Lions, and Wild Cats: Oh My , So Frightning

Goodbye little Mouse


Narrator : And away they run to their houses

Mouse: You see, you see?

İ told you so

Gruffalo: İt’s crazy of you. You are amazing

Narrator : They keep walked till the Gruffalo said

Gruffalo: İ listen a hoote in the tree a head

Mouse: That , That, Those are Owls

Owl: Oh Dear, Oh Dear! Goodbye little Mouse

Narrator : And they flew away

Mouse: You see, you see?

İ told you so

Gruffalo: Outstanding

Narrator : They walked and walked some more till the Gruffalo said

Gruffalo: İ hear a feet on the path ahead.

Mouse: Well Gruffalo, now you see


Everyone is afraid of me!

But no my tummy’s starting to rumble

And my favourite food is…… GRUFFALO CRUMBLE!

Gruffalo: Gruffalo Crumble!

Narrator: And as quick as the wind he turned and fled.

Narrator :All was quiet in the deep dark wood.

Narrator: The Mouse found a nut and the nut was good.

Narrator: The Moral of the story

İs really clear

Who has brains

Has nothing to fear
