Demonstration Procedure With Sample Script
DAY 1
1. Opening Prayer

3. Introduce yourself as the trainer for the qualification.
4. Check the attendance of trainees.
5. Show your PowerPoint Presentation and discuss the following to your
trainees.

You have to print a blank form of the Data Gathering Tool for
Trainee’s Characteristics and TNA Form 1.1 (Self-Assessment
Check). You have prepared these in Plan Training Sessions.
2. Distribute the Data Gathering Tool for Trainee’s Characteristics and TNA
Form 1.1 (Self-Assessment Check) to the trainees.
3. Orient the trainees about the purpose of accomplishing these forms.
Explain to them the instruction on how to accomplish them.
Orient the trainees on the purpose of the test, type of test, test
instructions, time allotment and scoring.
7. When the time is up, collect the test papers and answer sheets.
Sample Script: “Thank you very much for your cooperation. I will take the
necessary actions based on the result of your pre-assessment.”
Day 2
Scenario: Based on the result of the RPL that you have conducted, one trainee
has current competencies in some learning outcomes of the qualification and the
other one has none. Conduct a training session based on this situation.
STEPS/ PROCEDURE:
This is the time when you prepare all the facilities needed for this
training session. These include the signages of the 9 Learning Areas,
the Achievement Chart, Progress Chart, Training Activity Matrix, tables,
chairs and the tools, materials and equipment in performing the
demonstration. Make sure that all areas in your workshop are provided
with the necessary training materials before you start the session.
2. Greetings
Sample Script:
“Is it clear? Do you have some questions? You may start now.
The trainee who claimed to have current competencies will proceed
to the Institutional Assessment Area.
Sample Script:
“Since you have claimed that you have current competencies in some
of the learning outcomes in UC 2 – Drive Light Vehicle, you are going
to proceed to the Institutional Assessment Area and prepare your
proofs/ evidences that will support your claim.
“This is a 20-item test for you to answer in 30 minutes. Just read the
instructions carefully before you start answering. Is that clear? You
may start now.”
“For this test, you are going to perform Garage Parking and Parallel
Parking within 30 minutes. Please take time to read the instructions
before you start your performance. Do you have some clarifications
before you begin? If none, then you may start now.”
The trainer will observe the trainee as he/ she performs the
demonstration and use the Performance Criteria Checklist in
evaluating his/ her performance. After the performance of the
trainee, ask him/ her to go back to the Institutional Assessment
Area.
For the oral questioning, both the trainer and the trainee will sit
down and face each other.
“Alright, at this point I will ask you some questions that would further
evaluate your competency… (Ask at least 2 questions form your Oral
Questioning Tool and let the trainee answer.)
“Thank you. I’ll be back to give you some feedback regarding your
performance.” (Go to the trainee without current competency.)

Sample Script:
“Are you done? Let me check. Very good, you have completed your
first activities. In my evaluation, you are now ready to practice the skill.
Are you?”
“With that, you may now proceed to the Practical Work Area and
perform the demonstration. Please take time to read the instructions
carefully before you start your demonstration. Do you have any
questions and clarifications? If none, then you may start now.”
7. Give feedback.
Sample Script:
“How are you doing? I will now give you my feedback based on your
performance. In your written test, you’ve got 17 out of 20, good job,
congratulations!”
“In our interview, you were able to answer the questions satisfactorily. I
would just like to add that in every performance, you should always
remember to project contingency measures in the workplace.”
You can do this in the Practical Work Area, with you and the
trainee facing each other.
Sample Script:
“You have completed the activities for today. I would like to commend you all
for your performance. For tomorrow’s activities, just refer to our Training
Activity Matrix and before you leave, don’t forget to perform 5S and
housekeeping activities. Thank you!”
Day 3
1. Greetings
Sample Script:
Distribute the test to the trainees and give them ample time to
answer it.
“Read the instruction first before you start answering. Are you ready?
You may start now.”
Sample Script:
“At this point we have already finished the training, so I am now going to
conduct a Training Program Evaluation, to determine the effectiveness
of the training in achieving its objectives.”
Distribute the forms to the trainees and give them ample time to
accomplish it.
“Alright, are you done? May I now collect the forms. Thank you.”
4. Analyze the Post Test and Training Program Evaluation Result and
make an action plan for Training Session Adjustment.
