Physics has had an impact on society by allowing us to better understand and even predict

natural phenomena. We wouldn't be able to understand why the sky is blue, why grass is green,
understand weather and how to predict it, understand organic material decomposition, or predict
and prepare for natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes if it weren't for
physics. We wouldn't even be able to comprehend the law of gravity! Physics has provided us
with knowledge of our world's natural processes as well as methods to apply this knowledge to
benefit society. Also, Physics pervades everyday life, describing the motion, forces, and energy
of everyday experience. Physics is at work in actions such as walking, driving a car, and using a
phone. All the technologies we take for granted in our daily lives rely on physical laws. The
study of our natural world is known as physics. Physics has changed our understanding of the
universe, from the microscopic level of particles to the macroscopic level of space and has thus
changed our ideology and way of life.
