Introduction
•Kentucky Fried Chicken also known as
KFC, was founded by Colonel Harland
Sanders in Utah in 1952.
•Mr. Sanders began the selling of his fried
chicken at his service in 1930.
•In 1950, he started franchising his chicken
business, traveling by car from one
restaurant to another across the United
States and Canada before his formula
finally reached Malaysia in 1970.
•There are currently over 600 KFC
restaurants nationwide.

Responsibility that have been done by Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)
Malaysia is using proactive stances. Proactive stance is that a company
makes social responsibility their priority. Their business is not only about
making profits only but also taking part in social issues.
During this pandemic situation, KFC Malaysia has firstly realized that
many people need to be helped and have taken immediate action to the
situation. They opened a fundraiser account called Akaun Amanah Khas
to collect funds and also collect RM1 from any purchases of KFC Mixed
Bucket.

KFC Hearing And Speech Impaired Community Care Stores
Opening special stores for the hearing and speech impaired community. This
effort is to help them in living a decent livelihood and to help them prove to the
world that their community is able to do anything like other people in this world.
KFC Launch Projects In Fight Against Covid-19.
aims to show their dedication to help the front liner including policemen,
nurses, doctors and also the less fortunate which are the people of Malaysian
who has been affected badly by this pandemic

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Malaysia wants to educate the world
including themselves about global warming issues that we often hear
but not many realise and take action regarding this matter
CSR Management
Through partnership with other company: QSR Brands, a company that
owns and operates various fast-food restaurants, KFC included, through
its subsidiaries. . One of the program held under this partnership is “Add
Hope Program”.
Public Support: Tabung Penyayang KFC, for an instance. The funds are
collected in 2 ways. First in by donating 10 cents from every Chicky Meal
purchase and second is through collection boxes placed in every KFC
branches in the nation.
Conclusion: KFC does not have its own specific management
team/department for CSR management
Conclusion
Companies that are involved in many corporate social responsibilities will
surely be able to enhance or increase the positive image of their company
towards the society. But a good and successful company is not only a
company that always protects their positive image of its company but a
company that actively participates in the corporate social responsibility
because they realize their responsibility to the society to make sure their
business does not bring any harm to the society
Corporate social responsibilities and ethics is very important to be applied
by so that business bodies can ensure in giving the best and strong image
also acceptable to society
