I.SCHOOL PROFILE
Tiring National High School was established in 1974 and is one of the five (5) Nationalized High Schools in
the Municipality of Cabatuan School System. It is situated at Brgy. Tiring, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
The school has four (4) catchment areas including Brgy. Tabucan, Brgy. Guibuangan, Brgy. Talanghawan,
and Sta. Barbara. Tiring NHS students can reach the school through walking and others by means of
transportation such as public utility jeepney, motorcycle and tricycle.
The school offered Junior High School and Senior High School focusing on General Academic Strand and is
being managed by a Principal I with seventeen (17) faculty and staff comprising one (1)-ADAS, one (1)-
Head Teacher, two (2)- Teacher III, six (6)- Teacher II, and seven (7) -Teacher I.

_________students from Grade 7 to Grade 12 are currently enrolled for the School Year 2021-2022.
Parents of Tiring National High School students come from all walks of life representing a range of
socioeconomic diversity and occupation including agriculture, business, government and other professional
and non-professional sectors.

From the onset of COVID 19, the Department of Education implemented various learning modalities
such as online learning, printed module, and blended learning in order to provide quality education to
students. Parents preferred to enroll their children through printed modular learning to keep their children
safe from virus. The school has provided learning materials with a ratio of 1:1 such as textbooks and self-
learning modules which set forth the Most Essential Learning Competencies that could help students
develop their learning skills.

With the support of the Local Government Unit, Parents, Alumni and School Governing Council, the school
has provided health materials inclusive to hand washing facilities, hands -free alcohol dispensers, thermal
scanners, disinfectants, N95 mask, and face shield. They are located at the designated areas outside and
inside the classrooms to fully enforce hygiene practices to every individual who will set foot in the school
premises.

their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building the nation. As a learner-centered public institution, the
Department of Education continuously improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.
