Color Assignment

1) Corvette

Corvette gives off a more high-end vibe from their logo compared to other car

companies. They give off a sleek and sharp feel with their logo as its like a sharp V. I like

Corvette because they have a high-end car feel but are more affordable than other high-

end brands. Their logo is modeled after a racing finish flag and their main company

Chevrolet flying in the wind, symbolizing the cars speed pulling at a connection to

Nascar and their cars’ speed.

2) Baskin-Robbins

Baskin-Robbins gives off a loose, friendly feeling, sort of childish vibe. They have their

logo in all lower case and in a font that isn’t very uniform and unmatched, as if maybe a

younger child had written it. The color combination looks like maybe the colors of an ice-
cream flavor with the blue and pink contrasting. Seeing their logo makes me want to get

ice-cream and it induces some nostalgia for me personally and my dad would frequently

take me to get ice-cream there when I was younger. One clever thing they did with the

color contrast was make the middle of their logo the BR look like 31 with the pink,

showing that they have 31 flavors on their menu.

3) Redbull

Redbull’s logo has a lot going on, it has red, blue and yellow in the logo, with the two red

bulls about to clash, it sort of gives off a chaotic feel. All the colors and the bulls clashing

makes me feel kind of like going to the gym, and the Redbull with its caffeine is

something that would make my heart pump and I only drink caffeine before the gym

really. They represent energy and chaos to an extent with me, especially where a lot of

their ads are visible, with sports, moto-cross, races and a lot of other high energy activites

4) Boeing

Boeing’s logo is similar to Corvette’s as in it has a sleek appearance and the font is

slanted with pointed corners, similar to how an object looks when it is going fast. The

logo also features what appears to be a planet with a tail flying by it, maybe symbolizing
a plane flying by the sun up in the sky. It gives off a feeling of innovation and technology

with the big slanted block letters with the blue and white letters feeling comforting. They

represent innovation in aviation to me, a company strong in technology and advancement.

5) Panda Express

Panda Express’s logo is very simple, a panda. It gives off a welcoming vibe, as people

generally associate a panda with calmness and can feel more at peace. I also think of

China, as pandas are heavily associated with Asia, and China in particular as that is their

natural habitat. The connection is obvious as they serve Chinese food but is still

reinforced. The red and white also play off of their Chinese theme with the main color

being red, the same color as the Chinese flag.
