Prior to start the test make sure that all PPE are available in the area: Safety shoes, protective clothing, chemical gloves, respiratory masks/safety goggles &
high protection mask, shovel, Spill kit, work in progress signage’s, warning tape.
Site manager/supervisor/HSEQ officer as controller of the test emergency and one technician to be chosen for the test.

Scenario:
Major chemical spill happened: it involves more than 5L of a hazardous material, unstable spills, does endanger the environment and/or there is a risk of fire
or explosion.
One technician (the one to be tested for the emergency test) is conducting a routine visit when he notices the spill.

If the chemical is harmful for the environment, has he prevented the spill to flow towards any drainage

11 Has he properly disposed the chemical waste bag as a hazardous waste?
