Materials:
Size 5 Needles
200 yds DK weight yarn
Gauge: 6sts and 7 rows = 1in
Body:
Cast on 40 st
K2, P2 Ribbing for 15 Rows
Knit in stockinet stitch (inc. 1 st at beg and end of row every other row 6 times (52 st)
Inc every 4th round 3 times (58 st)
Palm:
K first 8 st and place on stitch holder. K to last 8 st and place on same marker. (42st)
Cast on 3 stitches before joining round (45st)
K 8 rounds even
K1, kfb, k to one stitch before middle stitch, kfb, k1, kfb, knit to last three sts, kfb, k1
(continue to increase in this manner every other round for 3 increase rounds) (57 st)
K 1 round
Index:
K 8 st, placeon stitch holder. Knit all but last 7 st in round and place on holder
Cast on 3 st evenly in next round at join
K for 15 rounds and bind off
Middle:
Pick up 8 st on front side and 9 st from the back.
Cast on 1 st at each join
K for 18 rounds and bind off
Ring:
Pick up 8 st from front and 7 from the back
Cast on 1 st at each join
Knit for 15 more rounds
Pinky:
Pick up 5 st from the front and 7 st from the back
Cast on 2 st at the join
K for 10 more rounds
Thumb:
Pick up all the st on the holder for the thumb
Cast on 2 extra st at the join, and k for 8 rounds.
