GNED 15 – WORLD LITERATURE
FINAL REQUIREMENT
Short Film
Topics covered:
1. Greek Literature 3. Hebrew Literature
2. Spanish Literature 4. Chinese Literature
Instructions:
Your class will be divided into 4. Each group will be covering a specific topic (Greek,
Spanish, Hebrew and Chinese).
Meet your group members to discuss the execution of the scenes covered in the story
and how you will “shoot” each scene. Divide the tasks within the group.
Create a list of staging goals that outline what you would like to accomplish in the scene
in terms of advancing the plot, developing the characters, and setting the tone.
Annotate your selection to tell actors how they should deliver their lines, carry
themselves, and explain how your annotations help meet your staging goals.
It’s up to your group on how you will edit/compile each character’s videos.
The video should be at least 10 minutes and not exceed 20 minutes.
Important notes to take:
If one or more group members are being uncooperative, the remaining group members
may write me an email detailing how the member in question is failing to perform his/her
duties.
Not all members are required to portray a certain character. For an instance, the editor
may not act.
You'll need to submit your final requirement to Google Classroom before midnight on
Tuesday, January 11. You'll also need to post a link to your presentation in our Google
Classroom wall. You'll need to view and comment on your classmates' presentations
before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, January 14.
You may edit your videos by using different editing applications/software.
What to submit:
