Oh Mary, Our Lady of Consolation, confidently we come to you, children in distress. You knew the
human pains of doubt and sense of loss; you felt close to the embarrassed and confused, the fearful and
the weak.

Just as you pondered things in your heart, may we imitate your virtue of docility and generosity. Grant
us the vision to see God's plans in our darkest hours and the strength to follow His will 'till the foot of
the cross.'

Dear Mother of Consolation, your Son said that our sufferings will be turned into joy. Help us do our part
in accepting these pains of humanity and transforming them into pearls of great value

to offer them to Him with you in the supreme sacrifice of love in the Blessed Eucharist. Broken for love,
your Son learned obedience through suffering. As our high priest is able to sympathize with our
weakness,

we confidently run to Him encouraged by your loving and tender concern. And just as we humbly
receive the graces of consolation and comfort through your intercession, may we, oh loving Mother of
Consolation, generously share these gifts with others.

Bearing each other's burdens with compassion, may we see your Son in the poor and the needy, the sick
and the helpless, the oppressed and abandoned. Thus lifted up with your Son may we draw everything
back to Him for the greater glory of God.
