ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA UNDER BASIC PAY SCALE (BPS)
Eligibility conditions for appointment of faculty in all disciplines excluding Engineering and Law
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
Experience
15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the
relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Professor
OR
10-years Post-Ph.D teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience
in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Minimum Number of Publications
The applicant must have 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
Experience
10-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the
relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Associate Professor
OR
5-years Post-Ph.D teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience
in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Minimum Number of Publications
The applicant must have 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals.
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D in relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

Minimum Qualification
First Class MS/M.Phil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized
University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding
Institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in the

Note: -
For Allied Health Sciences preference will be given to those who have basic degree in Medical Lab Technology/Pathology Lab Sciences/DMLS and for Physical Therapy

Eligibility conditions for appointment of faculty in Law Discipline
Minimum Qualification
a. Ph.D in Law or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution
OR
b. L.L.M/J.D in Law or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/ Institution.
Experience
a. 15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the
relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR
Professor
10-years Post-Ph.D teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or Professional experience
in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
OR
b. 17-years teaching/research experience (with at least 8-years’ experience after LLM/J.D or equivalent degrees in HEC recognized
University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
Minimum Number of Publications
The applicant must have 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals.
Minimum Qualification
a. Ph.D in law or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

Assistant Professor

Registration with PEC is mandatory.
Preference will be given to those who have Graduation in the relevant field.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA UNDER TENURE TRACK SYSTEM (TTS)
All Disciplines
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D/Terminal qualification in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
Experience
11-years Post-Ph.D or minimum 7 years Post-Ph.D experience along with at least 12 years prior to Ph.D teaching/research experience in a
Professor recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International
Organization.
Minimum Number of Publications
15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in Journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure
Track by the HEC.
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D/Terminal qualification in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
Experience
6-years Post-Ph.D or minimum 4 years Post-Ph.D experience along with at least 6 years prior to Ph.D teaching/research experience in a
Associate Professor recognized University or a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International
Organization.
Minimum Number of Publications
10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the past 5 years) in Journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure
Track by the HEC.
Minimum Qualification
Ph.D Degree/Terminal Qualification in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
Experience
Assistant Professor

NOTE
 As per University policy, the University reserves the right not to consider any application or fill any post without giving any reason. Therefore, post of Professors of
Agri. Extension, COA (30.04.2020) and Professor of Forestry, COA (30.04.2020) which have not been processed till date stand cancelled. The applicants of previous
advertisement are requested to kindly submit fresh applications, if interested, for the said positions. However, such applicants need not to deposit the processing fee
prescribed for the post(s).

 Posts of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers pertaining to Ex-Sub-Campus Bhakkar, Ex-Sub-Campus Mianwali and Sargodha
Medical College (except posts of Department of Allied Health Sciences) which have not been processed till date also stand cancelled.

 The faculty members who are working on contract/adhoc/IPFP basis can apply against above regular positions.
GENERAL INFORMATION
 Only short listed candidates will be called for Test / Interview.
 The prescribed application form can be downloaded from University of Sargodha website: www.su.edu.pk.
 Candidates for all positions are required to fill the application form in MS Word and submit three copies in case of Professor & Associate Professor along with
complete C.V and attested copies of testimonials in both hard and soft form (CD/DVD) and one copy in case of others along with complete C.V and attested copies of
testimonials in hard form.
 Two most recent passport size photographs should be affixed on each application.
 Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
 Candidates applying under both systems BPS and TTS should submit separate applications alongwith complete documents together with required fee for each
application.
 Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC.
 Applications must be accompanied with original bank deposit slip/University Challan Form of Rs. 2000/- in case of Professor & Associate Professor and Rs. 1000/- in
case of others, as processing fee (non-refundable) to be deposited under Head of Account “Collection” in HBL A/C No. 00427991777803, University of Sargodha.
 Candidates already in service of a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by closing date; otherwise
their applications shall not be entertained.
 Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained; even posted before the closing date.
 Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.
 In case any information provided by the candidate in his/her application form is found to be incorrect or false at any stage, he/she will be disqualified and action will
be taken under the Rules.
 Closing date for submission of applications for Professor & Associate Professor is 28.04.2022 and for others is 28.03.2022.
 The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the post(s) according to the needs of the University and reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any
post/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
