said. We left the sack on the track
and we skid to the end of the track.

The shop
“Let us go to the shops,” said Mum.
Off we go! “Look at this silk dress,” said Nat.
“You can get it,” said Mum.
Nat took off to fit on the dress.
Did it fit? “Yes Mum, it did,” she said.
Look at this big black box. They saw ten
sweets in the box. Can I get some sweets?
“Yes, you can Tas,” said Mum.
“Let us get some chips,” said Dad. “No,
we must go,” said Mum. “Come let us go,” said
Dad. We paid and left the shop.
We went for a swim.

The pond was next to their tent. They ran to


the pond. “Jump in,” said Dad. They swam in the
hot sun. “This is such fun,” they said. Gruff the
dog swam too. Dad swam past them. “No, Dad,
do not swim so fast,” said Mum. Sniff the cat
cannot swim and she ran off. “Come back
Sniff,” said Tas. Tas swam to his mom. “Do not
go there,” Dad said. Tas swam fast. He was
tired. Dad had to help Tas to swim to the end.

They had such fun in the sun!
