Apply Online for Teaching and Non-Teaching Post: DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi has issued an
employment notification for the recruitment of Teaching and non-teaching vacancies having command to
teach through English Medium in CBSE affiliated DAV Mukhyamantri Public Schools of Chhattisgarh Zone
under direct recruitment. Eligible candidates may apply online from 16.03.2022 to 22.03.2022. Other details
like age, educational qualification, selection process, how to apply are given below:

Age Limit:-
For PGT – 40 years as on 01.01.2022.

For TGT/PRT/Computer Tr./Music Tr./PET/Drawing Tr./Librarian/ Clerical Posts – 35 years as on 01.01.2022.

For PGT PAY SCALE: 9300-34800 (Grade Pay -4800) (Pre-revised)

Subjects are: - English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, Physical
Education.

Educational Qualification: -Post Graduate in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from
recognized university.

For TGT PAYSCALE: 9300-34800/- (Grade Pay – 4600) (Pre-revised)

Subjects are: - English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Physical Education.

Educational Qualification: - Post Graduate /Graduate in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and
B.Ed. from recognized university with CTET/CGTET.

For PRT PAY SCALE: 9300-34800/- (Grade Pay – 4200) (pre-revised)

Subjects are: - Hindi, English, Maths, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Physical Education, Music, Drawing,
Special Educator, Wellness Teacher, Librarian & Mother Teacher.

Educational Qualification: - Post Graduate /Graduate in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and
B.Ed. from recognized university with CTET/CGTET.
Physical Education: - M.P.Ed./B.P.Ed. from recognized university with 50% marks.
Computer Teacher: - BCA/MCA or B.Sc./M.Sc. (Computer Science) with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
Mother Teacher: - Must be Graduate in English/Science/Maths with at least 50% and B.Ed. from recognized
university with CTET/CGTET (English Spoken is a must).
Librarian: -B.Lib./M.Lib. withat least50%.
Drawing Teacher: - B.F.A./M.F.A. with at least50% marks.
Music Teacher: -B.Music/ M.Music with atleast 50% marks.
Special Educator:- Graduate with 50% marks with B.Ed.(Special Education)
Wellness Tr.:- Graduate/ Post Graduate with 50% in Psychology.

For LDC PAY SCALE: - 5200-20200/- (Grade Pay-1900)

Educational Qualification: -B.Com. with 50% and knowledge of Tally. Must be having good knowledge of books
of Accounts.

For regular appointments in PRT/TGT grade those who do not possess Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) /
Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CGTET) qualification may also apply but their candidature shall be
considered for contractual / term appointment only.

The salary offered by the selection committee for temporary appointment will be final and cannot be
challenged.

How to Apply:- Eligible candidates must apply online through the website : www.davbhilai.in from 16.03.2022
to 22.03.2022.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The written examination for the post of teaching and non-teaching posts will be conducted in single
shift, as such candidates are requested to apply only for one subject in the respective post.
2. The Written Examination will be conducted on03.04.2022 at the District Centre as per the choice opted
by the candidates for first posting.
3. Results of the written examination will be published on DAV Website www.davbhilai.in.
4. The list of candidates called for interview will be displayed in DAV Website.
5. DAV will not entertain any correspondence with the candidates about their candidature.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
7. The DAV organization may take up the verification of eligibility of the candidate at any point of time
prior to or after the completion of the selection process.
8. No TA-DA etc. will be paid for appearing in the written test/interview.
9. Qualification acquired by the candidates should be strictly in accordance with the prescribed
qualifications. Any candidate seeking claim of equivalence of the qualifications with that of the notified
one should furnish documentary evidence in support of their claim at the time of interview/selection,
otherwise such cases will be rejected. Similarly where grades have been given, the position of the mark
sheets showing equivalent percentage of marks should be produced at the time of interview/selection.
10. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for
admission to the examination. Their candidature at all the stages of the examination will be purely
provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
11. Only Central Teacher Eligibility Test / Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper- II) pass candidates,
having professional qualification of B.Ed. are eligible to apply for the posts of TGT. The candidates with
professional qualification of Special B.Ed. or D.Ed. or Special D.Ed. are not eligible to apply for these
posts.
12. For the post of Primary Teacher, Central Teacher Eligibility Test/ Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test
(Paper- I) pass candidates with professional qualification of B.Ed. or NTT (2 years course) qualified are
eligible to apply for the post of Primary Teacher.
 13. Since written examination will be conducted on a single sitting but on common date, the candidates
are advised to apply for one district only. The candidates can submit the online application on any day
between 16.03.2022 to 22.03.2022. The online submission form will be stopped from 5.00 p.m. on
22.03.2022, no further relaxation is allowed. The candidates can fill only one formand ensurethat all
the information are correct before submission of form.
14. Mobile phone or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the
examination being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action
including ban from future examinations.
15. B.Ed./ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) / Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CGTET) qualification
is essential for regular appointment in PRT /TGT grade. Those who do not possess Central Teacher
Eligibility Test (CTET) / Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CGTET) qualification may also apply, but
their candidature shall be considered for contractual / term appointment only.

The salary offered by the selection committee for temporary appointment will be final and cannot be
challenged.

NOTE: - IF ANYBODY DOES NOT GO THROUGH THE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS POSTED IN THE WEBSITE AND FILL THE
APPLICATION, NO CORRECTION WILL BE PERMITTED AT THE LATER STAGE.

The written examination will be conducted on 03.04.2022 at the district centre as per the choice opted by
the candidate for first posting.

Last date for submission of online application is 22.03.2022.

MODE OF SELECTION:-
a) Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview put
together. The DAV reserves the right to decide the cut off marks in written examination and interview
separately. The decision of the Selection Committee about the mode of selection to the above posts
and eligibility conditions of the applicants for interview shall be final and abiding. No correspondence
will be entertained in this regard.
b) The Written Examination for the recruitment to the above mentioned posts will be held on all centers
mentioned below on a specific date.
The Candidates should report at the venue for recruitment test on 03.04.2022 at 8:00 am. The written
Examination will be started from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.The Candidates must carry their ID Proof for the
verification at the time of the Examination
For the Written Examination Venue candidates are advised to see the School Name which is mentioned in the

The candidates are advised to select the examination centre considering the choice for posting on selection.
The choice for District and centre of written examination will be considered for Interview also and after final
selection posting shall be made in the same District.

No request for change of examination centre once allotted will be entertained and the candidate will have to
appear at the allotted center.

SCEHEME OF EXAMINATION:
The written test will be conducted from the syllabus prescribed by CBSE.
There will be a paper of General English compulsory for everybody, irrespective of the designation/subject
post. This is meant to assess the ability of candidates in respect of understanding, ability to comprehend,
ability to express and also to test the knowledge of English Grammar. This is a qualifying subject and so the
subject answer sheet will be evaluated only of those candidates who secure qualifying marks in General
English.

(i) For the post of PGTs

1. General English (Grammar and composition) :- 30 marks
2. Specified subject :- 70 marks

(ii) For the post of TGTs

1. General English Grammar and composition) :- 30 marks
2. The written test will consist of one paper for TGTs of 70 marks.
 (iii) For the Primary Teachers (all subjects)
1. General English Grammar and composition) :- 30 marks
2. Written test comprising of general paper having contents from any two subjects of 70 marks.
The syllabus will be std. VI to std.VIII.
iv) For all other miscellaneous subject post like Sports, Music, Library Science, Art & Craft and LDC,
one basic examination will be organized of 70 marks besides the general English paper.

v) Detailed examination schedule will also be notified on DAV website www.davbhilai.in.

vi) Based on the performance in written examination and also keeping in view the number of vacancies
the candidates will be called for interview. Intimation pertaining to this, will be uploaded on the
DAV website. Candidates are required to check the website from time to time. Taking into account
the performance of both written examination and interview, merit list will be prepared in case of
PGTs, TGTs and Primary teacher.

However, the mode of selection will be the sole discretion of Selection Committee and subject to
change.

NOTE: - The marks obtained in General English are kept to define the eligibility of the applicant for Evaluation
of their subject answer sheet. The marks will not be counted to generate the merit list of the candidates.

HOW TO APPLY:-

The candidates need to go through the Eligibility criteria before filling the online form.
Since written examination will be conducted on a singlesitting buton common date, the candidates are
advised to apply for one district only.

The candidates can submit the online application on any day between 16.03.2022 to 22.03.2022. The online
submission form will be stopped from 5.00 p.m. on 22.03.2022, no further relaxation is allowed.

The candidates can fill only One Form; ensure all the information are correct before they submit the Form.

This will ensure that he/she is fulfilling all conditions and is eligible to apply.

All mandatory information needs to be provided.

The candidate needs to upload the certificates (Graduate, Post Graduate, B.Ed., CTET/CGTET) in form of PDF
file less than 1.0 MB.
The maximum age will be counted as on 01.01.2022.

The written Examination will be conducted on 03.04.2022 (Sunday) at the district center as per the choice
opted by the candidate for first posting.
