3. Logistical information:
o Who is the Center Point of Contact for this Project – Who should the Consultant
Contact?
o Where should the Consultant go? Directions, transportation options, recommended
hotels, contact phone number?
o When are the dates for the review? 5th December 2007 (Wednesday)to 19th December
2007 (Wednesday). All dates inclusive in the study? Additional provision to be made for
travel.
o Additional contact with client prior to assessment:
o Establishing an agenda-who to meet with and when (day and time)
o Notify client of travel dates and times

4. Setting Expectations:
o Who should the Consultant send the Requirements Study (Business Analysis Reprot) to?
o When does the review need to be completed?
o What, if any, are the known areas of concern?
o Identify any unusual uses of J.D. Edwards’s software that may be used to solve a
business requirement and may require special attention.
o What are the client’s expectations?
o What documentation are available for the study?
• Organization Structure
• Chart of Accounts
• Customer, Supplier and Item Coding Structure and Classification
Structures
• Samples of Forms in use (Financial, Distribution and Manufacturing)
