Narrative Simulation For F2F Class

The document summarizes the results of a simulation of limited face-to-face classes conducted at Balaoang National High School for grade 10 students. It found that students were able to follow safety protocols put in place like signage and floor markings. Students were motivated to return to school. Some challenges were maintaining physical distance and providing new masks for students daily. Recommendations include having teachers monitor distancing and seeking support to provide masks. The simulation was successful thanks to stakeholder cooperation and school staff preparations to safely reopen classes amid the pandemic.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE SIMULATION OF LIMITED FACE TO FACE CLASSES

FOR THE S.Y 2021-2022
GRADE 10-G

With the inevitable transition of learning delivery modality from Modular Distance Learning to Limited
Face to Face Classes, a set of guidelines has been disseminated in order for everyone to have an idea on what to
follow. In accordance with these guidelines, preparations of different sort including the simulation of face-to-
face classes was conducted at Balaoang National High School. It was participated by twelve (12) Grade 10-G
Learners and 2 JHS teachers. The simulation was held to make sure that all necessary measures as instructed in
the Guide on Step-By-Step Guide of Daily routine are implemented by the school and followed by learners,
parents/guardians, and teachers for the limited face to face classes.
During the conduct of the simulation there are some observations and recommendations for
improvement to make sure that zero to minimal lapses will be encountered when the actual implementation of
limited face to face happens. Below is a graph of the report on what are the best practices and what needs to be
improved and localized as observed during the simulation.
What went well? Best practices
1. Students managed to easily follow the step by step It was because signages and foot markings are
guide of daily routine. available around the school vicinity.
Signages are clear, readable, and comprehensive
2. Students seem motivated to be back to school and It was because they saw that classrooms are well-
are already looking forward to the actual opening of organized and well-prepared to accommodate them
the limited face to face classes. when limited face to face finally gets implemented. It
can be seen that all teachers exerted extra effort to
make their classroom not just safe for the re-opening
of classes but also conducive for new learning
delivery modality.

What went wrong? (Problems encountered) Recommendations

1. Students had a hard time maintaining physical Signages are not enough to make them follow this, a
distance on their own. teacher or two must always be available to help them
maintain the required physical distance.
2. Changing of outside shoes to inside slippers Teachers have decided to put shoe racks side by side
for easy access.
3. Changing of mask used outside the school to a new Doing this everyday would be very costly and
one when entering the classroom teachers taught it would really need some help from
stakeholders to supply these facemasks to students
every day.

We can proudly say that everything went well because of the dedication and cooperation of everyone,
from our stakeholders, the BNHS Faculty and Staff, and all the learners who took part in this simulation. The
success of this simulation as well as the soon re-opening of classes in the limited face to face is not just a
product of the hard work of the BNHS Faculty and Staff but also by everyone who offered their contribution
and support through their finances, time, skill, and labor. Rest assured that all of these will not be put in vain
because our learners will highly benefit from it.
