Propose a program in school or community that will raise the awareness of

students and help eliminate sexually transmitted diseases especially among

the youth.

If ever, I’m going to propose a program for sexually transmitted diseases in my

school or in my community the name of my Program is “Safe Sex, Enjoy your Youth,
and Be aware of STD”. In my program, I would like to share with them what is the
meaning of STD. What are the possible happens if the person had an STD? How to
prevent an STD. There was a contraceptive that can prevent having an STD. What is
the illness possible we can get if ever we have an STD?

First, I will share with them the meaning of STD. It’s Sexual Transmitted Disease
also known as a Sexual Transmitted infection, that can pass of a person to another
person through vaginal, oral, and anal sex. After we explain to them what is STD, we
can now proceed in the diseased carry of STD.

Chlamydia is one of the common diseases sexually transmitted. I can

show to them what is the picture of Chlamydia. After that we going to explain are
caused to have Chlamydia, it caused by bacteria infection. The bacteria are usually
spread through sex or contact with infected genital fluids like semen or vaginal fluid.
You can also get that in unprotected vaginal or oral sex. It can affect also both women
and men. Women can have it in their cervix, rectum, while men can have it in the
urethra or inside of the penis, rectum, or throat.

The next disease is Gonorrhea is an infection caused by a sexually

transmitted bacterium that can also affect both males and females. This disease are
most affects the urethra, rectum, or throat. To female can also infect the cervix. After we
explain the Gonorrhea, we going to tell now the symptom we should observe to let us
know if ever we have already Gonorrhea. If you are a male the possible symptoms is;
greater frequency or urgency of urination, discoloration and swelling at the penis
opening, testicular swelling or pain, and also pain you well feel if you are in bowel
movement. Now if you are female possible symptoms are watery, creamy, or greenish
vaginal discharge, the next is pain or burning while urinating, heavier periods, itching
and soreness in your anus, rectal bleeding, and also like men you also may feel a
painful bowel movement. The other symptoms of that are; sore throat, redness in your
throat, and swelling in the lymph nodes in your neck
After we share some diseases that are possible we get in STD, we can
proceed now in HIV or Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It is a virus that attacks the
body's immune system. If the person has HIV and it is not treated earlier it is possible it
can lead to AIDS or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. There is currently no
effective cure for this. But there was research or study says even HIV are cannot be
treated and if the person has HIV, they have it for life. But we can prevent to be
worsened if we are proper medical care for HIV. There is also symptoms if the person
already has HIV, they will feel like they have a fever, Chills, Rash, Night Sweat, Sore
throat Fatigue, and Swollen lymph nodes.

Second, we also discuss with them how they will prevent having an STD. Now there
was a study that Condoms are can prevent a person to have an STD. According to the
study, if a person wants to prevent or sacred to have an STD, he/she can use a condom
to prevent it. The next one is to avoid sharing a towel or underwear. Wash before and
after having intercourse with your partner. Get a vaccination for hepatitis B, this series
have n 3 shots. And the last if you want sure that you don’t have an STD you get tested
for HIV. The last if you really want that you don’t get or make sure you don’t have an
STD the good way to do this is not to have sex. For sure not having sex is one of the
impossible ways especially for the person who really wants to have their own family.

The third is we can also show them the number of the person who has an STD and a
person who is died because of AIDS. In the program that I will do, I will also give a
flayer that contains summary information that I was tackled next is some condoms for
the youth. I’m not engaging them to have sex to their partner but we also know that
other youth today are impulsive. I can also share some videos of people have an STD
are having difficulty with their lifestyle because they have an STD.
