HOUSE GUIDELINES: RENOVATION OF BEN HALL

1. The only entry-and-exit-point to be used by the workers is the outside stairs directly
connected to the gym going to their barracks.
2. The workers will use the emergency exit near the TV room as their entry-and-exit point
to the refectory.
3. The barracks will be located near their entry-and-exit point. Workers are not allowed to
assemble anywhere their barracks. Seminarians are advised to refrain from visiting the
said area.
4. The workers are not allowed to loiter around the seminary. While the construction is
underway, only designated areas can be accessed. It is prohibited for them to go to the
rooftop for any reason.
5. Workers are advised to go to their barracks and avoid staying at the construction site after
working hours unless there is permission to do so.
6. The seminary maintains a smoke-free environment; therefore, workers are advised to
only use the kiosk for smoking.
7. The workers should be allowed to go to the refectory only during their designated time
for meals and snacks.
8. The use of equipment at the gym is allowed provided that the seminarians will not use the
facility. Sports such as basketball are not allowed during class hours or at night.
9. The workers will be provided with lightings. Therefore, lighting from the gym is
restricted to be used.
10. The only restroom available to the workers beside St. John’s Garden. They are also
advised to do their laundry and other personal things in the same comfort room.
Moreover, the cleanliness of the CR should be maintained.
11. Library CR and refectory CR will be used temporarily by the workers. Hence,
seminarians are advised to use the comfort rooms of the buklurans. (for confirmation to

12. The workers must wear their uniforms at all times for identification and security reasons.
It is highly prohibited for them to go to any authorized area without their uniform.
13. Coordinate with the concerned seminary personnel (e.g. formators, ate mina, house
coordinator) to accommodate their concerns.
