II. Narrative Report

A. Introduction/Rationale
Faculty members of San Carlos San Luis National High School decided to come up with
Project LINGAP. This is a manifestation of the empathy and care of our faculty members and
donors have for the Carlosians. Hence we introduced an innovation program as a part of
Brigada Eskwela activities to somehow help our students become healthy and active. The most
common problem in every community at this pandemic is food shortage especially to
thosewhose parents had stopped working because of quarantine restrictions. Simple food packs
will eventually help our students have something to eat. Majority of the Filipinos are suffering
from poverty and are even starving. With the help of concerned citizens, colleagues, and
friends, we implemented a program that could at least help our students ease their hunger.
Giving healthy food packs and seedlings is the most outreached solution we could offer.
Basically, it is the best way to remind our students about healthy living through healthy eating.
For the guardians and parents we all know that the benefits of having access to an improved
drinking water source can only be fully realized when there is also access to improved
sanitation and adherence to good hygiene practices. Beyond the immediate, obvious advantages
of people being hydrated and healthier, access to water, sanitation and hygiene – known
collectively as WASH .
B. Participants
All students are recipients of the food packs prepared by the faculty members.
C. Facilitators

D. Conclusion/Recommendations
The purpose of this project is to remind our students eat healthy and reduce hunger
while they learn. When a student weighs below his/her ideal body weight, malnutrition
prevails. Nutrition status affects physical growth and maturation, and influences a
person's attention span, learning capacity and ability to engage in educational
experience. And for the parents and guardians to stay hydrated that adhere to healthier
and good proper hygiene. The budget for this project was made successful through the
donations from our stakeholders. To improve this program, we must seek more
donations to continuously sustain and provide healthy food packs and seedlings to our
learners and free drinking water for their parents and guardians.
