Binomial Theorem

The Binomial theorem provides a formula for expanding binomial expressions in terms of algebraic terms. It expresses (a + b)n as a polynomial with terms involving the coefficients of an, b^n, and intermediate terms with coefficients involving binomial coefficients. Some examples show expanding binomial expressions using the Binomial theorem and identifying coefficients of particular terms. The general term of the expansion is identified involving factorials and binomial coefficients. Further examples demonstrate expanding more complex expressions, identifying coefficients, and using expansions to estimate numerical values or identify properties of the expansions.
