Orborts Scientific Adventure Violence QS3 PreGens

The document describes a character who was experimented on at a laboratory on the Moon. They were fitted with bioaugmentations and subjected to electroshock therapy, which caused them to transform into a kwallikh beast. They were then sent to Venus to observe local fauna with instructions to return, but plans to do more than their captors intended. The character's stat block and background information is then provided, indicating they have abilities related to transforming into creatures they've observed and casting spells using "biofiddlery" substances. Their background is that they were experimented on and tormented on the Moon.

Lo'ly’bluth Sixteenthly

You don’t remember life outside the laboratory on the Moon. You
were experimented on, fitted with bioaugmentations, injected with
foul, smoking concoctions, and repeatedly shocked. After one such
session, you transformed into a kwallikh beast. Your tormentors
exchanged enthusiastic handshakes and brandy toasts. They put
you on a rocket to Venus with instructions to observe as many
local fauna as possible, and then return. Importing alien fauna for
experimentation is so expensive and tiresome, they said. So much
easier to give you the ability to transform into creatures you’ve
seen, send you on a field trip, then have you return with a whole new
catalogue of creatures in your repertoire. Through a combination
of electroshock therapy, hypnotic suggestion, and tracking chips
embedded in your skull, it would be impossible for you to do
anything other than their bidding – or so they think.

You used to be an assembly worker at Grordbort Industries,
employment hardly commensurate with your King’s College
diploma. One day, while contemplating this regrettable state of
affairs, you decided to make some unauthorised improvements
to the line’s equipment. Things went a bit pear-shaped and your
manager ended up in a de-gammariser. Fortunately, your advanced
training and innate genius allowed you to render up an illusory
manager, which bought you enough time to escape with a bundle of
gadgets before the bobbies arrived. It’s said that talent is in short
supply on Venus. Not for long…
