Course Description
The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts and principles of patterns and algebra (quadratic equations and inequalities, quadratic
functions, rational algebraic equations, variations, and radicals) and geometry (parallelograms and triangle similarities and basic concepts of trigonometry) as
applied – using appropriate technology – in critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, communicating, making connections, representations, and decisions
in real life. By the end of this course, students will be able to apply algebraic, geometric analysis, and statistics into everyday life and activities. Students will be
expected to learn and perform very complex algebraic, geometric reasoning, and statistics. Topics will be combined from both fields, with emphasis on real-
world examples and logic reasoning. With the different activities provided in every module, the students find this material engaging and challenging as it
develops their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
