BRIGADA ESKWELA S.Y. 2021-2022

As what the old saying goes, “It takes a village to educate a child.”
It is said that we need the support from our community to ensure the
lifelong learning of the child. On September, 2021 we participated the
brigade eskwela for this school year. It was actively participated by different
stakeholders namely, parents, teachers, barangay officials from 24
barangays in Tago, Surigao del Sur, students and even a lot of volunteers
from various sector may it be in public or private.

The welfare of the students is our topmost priority. Therefore, we need

to provide quality education. To begin with the conducive environment,
clean and safe surrounding that would enable the learners to be motivated
to learn and achieve more not only in school but also in their lives.

The conduct of brigada eskwela, strengthened the camaraderie and

strong family ties with cooperation and instilled the sense of responsibility to
our young learners. It taught them a valuable lesson that, they needed to
partake in the cleanliness of the surrounding for they are the ones which
are of great benefit out from it.

It was successfully done through each other’s effort and initiative.

Indeed, Gamut National High Schools brings the best version of your
children. Para sa bata, para sa bayan.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON HRPTA MEETINGS cum STUDENTS’

PERFORMANCE
S.Y. 2021-2022

Homeroom Parents- Teachers Association of Grade 9 - Mendeleev had been

participating the quarterly monitoring and reporting of the students’ academic progress
and performance including their children’s behavior and other concerns if there are
any.

It is said that these strategy has been proven as effective. How do I know?
Simply because I can easily trace back and contact the concerned parents and learners.
Hence they will be able to improve whatever matter it has been.

In my section, I made sure that each of the learners and parents has at least
my way of communicating them, may it through their personal number, fb messenger
and in person. For those learners who has been experiencing the difficulty of life and
was not able to provide those modes of communication, I personally went to their
houses to have a heart-to-heart talk to them. In that way, I will be able to understand
their reason behind those poor performances.

I constantly reminded them on the distribution and retrieval of modules and

their children’s’ behavior so that I can directly reprimand and gave them feedback for
improvement. It is a way of strengthening our relationship, as their parents and me as
their second parent here in school.

Constant reminders and I let my parents and learners ask me if there are any
queries and confusion with ease. With that, they can actually open up their selves and
let me see between the lines. They are even willing to donate and contribute to whatever
requirements the school has given.

As per my observation, it is evident that these learners and parents has

gradually improved in many aspects. Indeed, communication is the cement that holds
the society together. Mendeleev learners were able to have a passing grade. All of them.
Nobody’s left behind.
